The quote disagrees with the rest of the article. Its implying that the 2jz is a great option in anything, including your sand rail or 2nd gen Camaro project. I was refuting that by saying the LS and a lot of V8s are better in a lot of things.

Put a 2JZ-GTE into literally anything, and you'll be good too.

Personally I want more V-Twins

I don't blame the constructors for making silly looking cars because racecar. What I don't get is why the FIA doesn't think about this stuff and try to work with the teams to make sure the cars they build are appealing.

I'm skeptical of that. A limb has to usually be pretty mutilated to immediately amputate it from trauma. I am by no means an expert but he doesn't look that messed up in those pictures.

cool

Honestly I have never owned a car older than about 15 years where that kind of stuff still worked and I've owned a lot of cars. Radios always have busted screens, there are dead cells in various readouts, or the actual electronics are in poor condition.

Anything but this. Why do they feel they need to get creative with it? I know black and white with flashing red and blue lights are for cops. Red is for the fire department, green is for parks and rec, and yellow is for cabs.

makes them look super long.

Its a legit point though. How many of those lcd screens still work properly? Not a whole lot. Honestly I don't see what's wrong with actual gauges.

That car would run at least $500 probably closer to $750 on Craigslist. I call BS on this.

That is a crazy looking bus.

Not talking about real racing, just go carts. Depending on how slow they are you can just stay full throttle and stay inside the whole corner. I wasn't saying early apex, I just meant take up the whole inside.

Check out this 736 horsepower Volkswagen Golf. Yes, most traditional muscle cars are rear-wheel drive instead of front-wheel drive. What is the difference? Of course there is an issue when the front wheels are used for both steering and power. But there is something else – traction.

Its sad. I feel like they're pulling an Oldsmobile.

I was liking the exterior but no

Peak torque is the where an engine is at its greatest VE and has the highest cylinder pressure. Higher cylinder pressures result in more torque for the same amount of air. Having a higher compression ratio also results in higher cylinder pressure. Stroke can sometimes increase compression ratio but to some extent,

I think you missed my point. Any car that is that small is going to accelerate (decelerate) much harder in a head on crash with a bigger car than any test with a static object. A car with that little mass is always going to lose to even a small sedan. The fact its a smart car and has a decent chassis really doesn't

I'm actually about to go to bed but what I was getting at is its just a different philosophy. Most the western world builds smaller but better things, China builds a larger number of cheaper things.

Funny you bring up how much can change in 5 years when in your last comment you had a link to a site that listed a bunch of major achievements China has had up to about 1700.
