I tried this once. It spilled battery acid everywhere. I did some dumb things with that truck that I am not proud of.

Damn that's getting serious, really scary its gotten to the point he's in a coma. Hope he pulls through.
The element is Aluminum and we pronounce it as such.
You know what the solution to this is? Go on a diet. I'm just being blunt about it, you have the power to make yourself a healthy size and none of this would be a problem. Change what you have the power to change and accept the things you can't.
I feel like that wouldn't do much for them. Carbon kind of sucks at impacts
Well they could audit people occasionally and most states keep track of millage up to 100,000 miles.
And you need to be very clear its a good deal and won't be at that price for long. All the ads you see in the following weeks with the same car are actually con men that stole the picture and made the ad increasingly desperate for realism.
This is wonderful
I wonder if it was poseted that the water level was low and should've known they were driving off the end of the ramp or if they just didn't know.
I agree with the point you're making but I don't like the gas tax. I'd be in favor of just taxing people based on miles driven*weight of the vehicle and then just just double check people's self reporting every time the title changes hands.
I mean the custom van sounds like nice shit to me. I'd totally take a 60's ford van or a '78-79 bronco in his position
I wonder if he's driving something like that now but wants something that fits him from the factory.
I saw a rat rod where it was driven from the back seat and this '55 with a v12 is driven from mid car
Aren't you supposed to turn into the roll when you do that and just kind of have it roll off the side of the ramp? That's what I always thought.
Too much crap in modern cars. Used to only be a problem in high end stuff but now even on normal cars there is just too much going on in the center console and not enough thought into just setting things up properly. Maybe its just my ADD but when I have too many settings to play with I'm always screwing with them…
Yeah, that's what I've gathered. I do like the wire wheel look though.
That's a great point 7 thou is pretty big.
Oh not a pneumatic ones, something more like a scaled down version of the tires on mining trucks. They have a really hard rubber tire that has foam inside. Given they're already running aluminum directly on the ground they probably could have just coated a lighter wheel in some sort of foam/rubber/plastic material…
Good point on the rubber but you could design the wire wheels to not fatigue if you used steel with the right FOS.
Yeah but I would think you'd just make them bigger. Similar to how we we use rubber tires and steel wheels on everything from a civic to an 18 wheeler, we know that works well on pavement and its just about the scale. That said someone else brought up a good point they'd gets rocks stuck in them.
