Thanks for saying this. I was equally disappointed.

Thank you for saying this. I stayed up late to watch the finale and I still felt bitter about it when I woke up this morning. For the record: I love the show. But this finale was a total bummer from a story resolution standpoint. What was the point of juggling all these different plots if they ultimately planned to…
I found the finale frustrating, too, but for different reasons. It just felt like they left a bunch of plot threads unresolved on purpose—including the Martha storyline. I agree that it makes little sense for her character to still be alive (as much as I like and sympathize with her character). I'm down with the…
The Wire still trumps all of these shows.
You're probably right about Kimmy, but I definitely maintain that Martha should have appeared. Henry basically ended up nowhere, too. I know he's at Stan's house, but they already established that episodes ago. It just felt like the writers didn't want to kill anyone off, so they kicked the can into the next season.
That's fair, but I still feel like the ending was anticlimactic. It was a long season, and they spent a lot of time setting things up without any major resolution occurring in the finale. I know Paige ratted them out and everything, but only within the last few minutes. Look, I love the show, and I understand that…
A whole season of episodes just for that? No Martha? No resolution for the Kimmy plot? Seriously anticlimactic.
Okay, I'm going to finish watching this final season of Mad Men just to see how it ends. But good gravy, this show is majorly flawed—particularly the acting. Hamm, Moss and Hendricks are great. But the dude who plays Pete overacts. January Jones underacts. Sally has improved significantly, but she's miscast. Glen is…
I agree. Terrible acting, plain and simple.
You had me [vowing never to see this] at "director Zack Snyder."
"Each and every day, get a little freedom in your life."
I found Gone Girl intolerable, but I do love The Master.
…and authority figures (and the institutions they represent) can control people by filling in those blanks. That's why I love The Master.
Brolin definitely should have been nominated for Vice.
Inherent Vice was definitely my favorite this year.
I still feel like a big chunk of the Inherent Vice cast is being robbed. No Brolin? No Phoenix? No Waterston? Even Owen Wilson did some of his best recent work in that movie.
Agree 100%. Bizarre that they greenlit an entire season for this show.
I agree. Some of it made me laugh, but a lot of other parts were horribly acted and directed. The initial showdown in the bar between Bernal and McDowell's characters was wooden as hell. And that drinking game was ridiculous—not in a good way.
You know the dude is in fact British, right?
I know a lot of people who are in AA, and the majority of them (that I know personally) are very nice and friendly.
