I’m curious about Eugene too. We spent a ton of time with him in Hell this season hoping for an escape...which we finally got...at the very end of the season. I honestly have no clue where they’re going with his storyline. And I’m not sure I care all that much anymore.

I don’t need to see Hitler again. The punchline was Hitler knocking over a guy with a crutch and Eugene realizing that Hitler was still a bad guy, despite his sweet righteousness. Rather move on with the main characters. A single scene at the end of the show, showing Hitler adapting and being a bad guy on the

I don’t think that Tulip and Cassidy’s stories were bad, necessarily. Tulip’s post-traumatic breakdown after nearly dying at the hands of the Saint of Killers was credible. Cassidy’s inability to bond with his Denis and his ultimate decision to kill him all felt a bit inevitable, but the way Gilgun played it that seem

The reviews following the end of season 1 were more or less the same—the season was slow, but now it should pick up in season 2. The fact that people are essentially saying the same thing about this finale is a little problematic. And yes, the apartment was essentially Preacher’s answer to the farm. It gave the show

Why the recent resurgence in interest in this movie?

Well the lines about Tulip and Cassidy masturbating in the living room were funny—that was about it.

This was such a meh season overall. It stumbled at the halfway mark and then just kind of meandered around for several episodes. I feel like I watched the same episode six times. At least last season there was variety. This was ‘Season 2 of The Walking Dead’ barn-level grating at times with that hotel and Denis.

I don’t like kinja

At least they’re finally out of that fucking shitty apartment in New Orleans.

I’m probably done with Preacher. I just can’t muster enthusiasm for it any more even though I liked the first season quite a bit... Everything just seems so pointless and arbitrary. I haven’t read the comics, which are highly recommended enough to make me think there’s something more there, but that shouldn’t be a

I don’t know what the hell Preacher is anymore. Nobody cares about the Denis or Hitler and Eugene storylines. They kill off Tulip just to pull off a Melisandre? All of the things I mentioned were not in the comics. Furthermore, it is bad when you can tell your main characters are bored with the glacier pace and

Seriously, it was a disapointing season. I didnt care about denis and having a tulip die just to get resurected again is so lame. They could have had an action packed season but it was boring. Not good for perspective other seasons.

They have a limited number of episodes and a certain amount of story to get through, so Time Skips are going to be needed. I wish they had of gotten more seasons so they could have slowed down a little but no dice.

Welp, this community has gone to shit. All of ten comments in this review, and I wanted to post my thoughts on the Preacher episode, but what was the point? It’s hard to find and all of 5 people commented on it.

all I gotta say is love how they brought 70's NYC to life, can’t wait to watch more episodes.

Kinja really does suck.

For a show set in New Orleans, this hast to be the most enclosed and claustrophobic use of a great city to evoke a tone and sense of place. Likely a budget issue, but damn, get us the hell out of that fucking apartment

I’m so bored with the Eugene in Hell scenes they have completely dragged down the whole series and keep repeating themselves over and over without getting us anywhere or telling us anything about his character that we didn’t already know and I am really freaking sick of seeing this teenage girl commit suicide over and

Kinja Fucking jacks. Navigating this website is bullshit. Old reviews are blank spaces.

The season should have been 10 episodes instead of 13. They spread the hell escape and tulips ptsd out too much. And denis to be honest. Just felt like filler. The last season felt like it had more action
