Looks very clearly to be an homage to his two favorite works: Zone of the Enders and Metal Gear Solid.
Wait I get it, so you’re telling me this is the X-Men explanation of the Engineers from Prometheus? I knew it!
Hi Esther, I’m glad you took up the mantle on continuing my ‘Let’s Learn about Scientists’ posts. I have unfortunately diminished time to browse the internet as I used to, and I really appreciate you continuing to find awesome scientists to remind us of which giant’s shoulders we’re standing on.
Well said bioball, cheers to you. Anything that piques the mind is art, and if we can get more into science I’m all for it!
Understood. The subtlety might have been lost anyway. Looking forward to the Journal, I’ll be following closely!
I will fund it if I can get a polygonal tshirt with Tycho Brahe’s face that says either “RESPECT BLADDERS” or
“May I be excused, your Majesty?”
Nothing wrong with being spoiled. You only live twice as some guy in a tux says. I do hope you got to do some sightseeing of Scotland while you were there. I hear all the islands on the west end are gorgeous enough to tell stories of giants.
My palate is varied but if I’m drinking just plane scotch I prefer the less peaty variant. If its peaty I have to add some ice and water. For a celebration I would say Glenlivet 21, otherwise 18 is just dandy.... unless of course you have a better recommendation.
I’ll help. We’ll have scotch afterward where all niners and ODeckers can work on our evil genius laugh.
Thanks for keeping those of us on the outskirts in the loop ABP <3
Three words: Legend of Legaia.
Reminds me of ApkoHa // Arkona, a pagan Russian death metal band that is a lot of fun if you can understand the lyrics. They’re a little nationalistic but for people who understand the old slavic history, its just fun.
So how do you feel about the NIH’s Precision Medicine Initiative?
You mean Volgaskown
Looks like one of my monikers has been found out
There’s a funny theory that relates cheese eaters with higher brain function. I’m sure the next neuro-conference I go to will get even cheesier because of this.
I once dated a Pathologist from Puerto Rico. Over the xmas break she sent me a gram stain of some cancer cells that happened to look like a christmas tree.
