One of the reasons it’s so difficult and awful and divisive to have discussions on the internet is that so many people, people like you, assume the absolute worst about everyone who doesn’t see exactly eye to eye with you. Please, for the love of god, step back a little and try to see why that is a problem. I

But does every game have to have every option for diversity in it? Is it unacceptable to tell a story if it’s not completely representative of all marginalized people? If I create a Warhammer 40k game and you can’t play as a female space marine because of the lore, does that game not have a right to exist? If you are

If you’re implying that this article is an answer to my questions, I disagree. The article is written with the assumption that the reader already knows and agrees that it is a problem we should be upset about. It does not really make that argument, it assumes that argument has already been made and won.

But....why is it a problem if Tarkov decides it will do a war game where the soldiers are male? Nobody really makes a good argument for why that’s a problem, or why that is an issue worth writing long articles about. “Representation is good!” Sure, cool, we agree. But that isn’t the same as “I should care that this

Which shows you weren’t paying attention because one of the reasons why Dexit people were upset was because TPC outright said that no old Pokémon would be patched in later and that we would have to buy other games to get the missing Pokémon.

If you don’t pay for the expansion you can see them but can’t catch them. So basically they took them out, gave a bullshit excuse, only to put them in so they can charge you to catch them.

WOW. I didn’t think they’d actually do this: add the additional species as paid DLC. Oof.

200 more Pokemon being added in a $30 expansion pass.

They took them out, to resell them to us.

What a time to be alive.

Translation: “Heres the rest of the game we left out, pay up chumps.”

Someone has to say it after months of mediocrity: Clueless Hero_is_not_funny! Maybe that is the point?

When somebody goes into a store or other building but they intend to only stop in for a moment, it is pretty common to say something along the lines of “I’ll be out in a second.

You serious? It’s as boxing day joke. He went into the store to pickup a hard drive and came back out with a tonne more crap.  Unless you’ve never gone into a store before, this one was the most obvious comic on the list.    Life in Aggro made literally no sense to me whatsoever. Mind you, I don’t play Final Fantasy,

“I’ll be out in a second/minute/etc.” is a very common phrase, at least in American English.  The most common context is such as a person is occupying a bathroom and is being waited upon.  I don’t see an issue with its usage here in casual speech.

He’s walking into a store. He’ll be out of the store in a second. Thus, “I’ll be out in a sec”

Another thing that drives me nuts about the e-shop is that if you scroll too far in a list, it starts getting really laggy and eventually gets to the point where the list just kind of crashes and kicks you back up to the top.  Also, a month or so ago it would error out every time I opened it and then do a quick reload

Exactly, hell the 3DS keeps track of your playtime to the day.

The Switch menus and store actually are the worst because all of the competition is demonstrably better.

On the PS4 menu you can make folders, and sort games and have filters when browsing all games like installed vs not installed, purchased vs PS Plus

The switch menu is easily the worse of the 3, and that’s pretty well a universal opinion. However, I don’t think it’s bad or even annoying. The eShop however is pretty trash.

Gonna reply to get this out of the greys. I generally believe all gacha games are predatory time sinks so being the least predatory isn’t exactly high praise, but I respect dissenting opinions and I’d like everyone to get a chance to read yours.
