Ah, yes, I had forgotten about that.

Tagomi knows the world he knows. He knows the “real” Juliana in that world. He wants to help her. He also probably doesn’t feel he deserves to be around his son and wife knowing that they are not the “real” son and wife he lost in his own world. He wants to help the world he inhabits.

I got the sense from his earlier meeting with Kido in the series that Smith was a bit of a war hero in the Pacific for the US.

Kido’s words to Frank about only being scared of a “death without honor” spoke so highly to how well-established his character is. This is a man we saw moments away from committing seppuku, this is a man who basically told Frank that he understood why Frank committed the bombing, and also was accountable for his own

I can’t think of any WWII veterans who served in the Pacific who would come back home and willingly say, “Hey, those Nazis ain’t so bad.” Not saying there weren’t SOME, but Smith wouldn’t strike me as one of those types.

The one flashback we did see, of John and Helen witnessing the blast from the A Bomb on D.C., I thought did a great job at planting the seeds of why a guy like Smith would turn. He had done his duty for his country in the Pacific for the U.S. but when he returned back to the East Coast, all of that fighting amounted

Looked to me like he shot her in the shoulder in hopes that it would prevent her from traveling; I don’t think Smith was trying to kill her.

The other thing I think is very important to remember re: Juliana is that we’ve seen her get killed by a seemingly-on-her-side Joe, who shoots her dead in the Lackawana tunnel after telling her, “Trust me.” In my opinion, this reality that she has had visions/memories of must be the same reality she traveled to, which

From what I’ve seen in interviews with him, he just seems like a pretty boring, bland guy in real life. He doesn’t seem very charismatic or charming, nor does he seem to care if people like him very much. It’s kind of refreshing, though.

It’s the best follow-up to T2. I am in the minority of Terminator fans who actually really enjoyed T3, but SCC is the most fitting continuation of the T2, uh, continuity.

Agreed. New Girl proved she has great comedic chops and is very charming.

The dude who supposedly hates “faux outrage” yet tried to stage a one-man protest against rival station host Michael Felger for his insensitive comments after Roy Halladay’s death, and in doing so, made himself look like the complete lunatic we all knew he was inside? That guy? I’m supposed to feel sorry for him? Fuck

“Clearly, you didn’t do your own due diligence here as an owner, and you don’t know the inner-workings of your own company, so, for that reason, I’m out.” - alternate reality Mark Cuban to Actual Mark Cuban

THAT is where I know him from!! That was driving me crazy and I don’t know why I didn’t just IMDb him but now I’m glad I didn’t

I guess people are just wiping their piss-and-shit-covered dicks and asses all over the stalls everywhere, right? I don’t understand the germaphobia people have with touching things in a bathroom.

Eh, fair point. I just don’t see why it’s weird to close the door, either. I’m fine either way. I only stall-pee if ALL the urinals are taken up. I think it’s crazy that some guys refuse to piss in a urinal next to another guy.

That guy doesn’t give a shit if you’re shitting, though.

After the news that came out last week regarding their guitarist, might not be the best time to promote Manowar these days.

If the stall door is closed, though, wouldn’t you just assume it’s occupied? Most bathroom stall doors stay ajar if they aren’t locked, I would think?

Why do you need to keep it open? Are you trying to send a message, “Don’t worry, guys, I’m not shitting! It’s JUST a piss, so I’m free to open the door, okay?”
