Elliot had his arm in a sling at the movie theater, so this was after the window incident. However, I’m not convinced that Elliot didn’t retroactively convince himself that he was thrown out the window by his dad, in order to process the grief over shunning his dad in the movie theater and leaving him to die. I feel

When he showed up as a “nice guy” on Mad Men whom got drunk with Peggy and then they made grand plans to fly to Europe together, I was happy Brian had gotten away from being a semi-stalker creep! I also loved that this character trope was utilized and mocked brilliantly in Not Another Teen Movie.

Katie was openly flirting with Roy on the booze cruise because he was an old high school jock and she was a cheerleader. Not saying Jim needed to dump her so harshly as he did, but still!

He’s gotta fight on the streets for scraps

Wow, good thing you have that saying!

I couldn’t sleep that night for hours after that episode ended, I was just so blown away and shaken by what I had just seen.

What was laughable about it? It had to be dialogue-heavy because it required her convincing him verbally to fire Elliot.

I love how he’s not even keeping the fact that he’s writing a novel a secret. I laughed when he told Tyrell “I was hoping to get some work done on my book.”

They are probably just going to have security at the building stop Elliot from entering, and give him his papers there on the spot, I’d imagine. But it’s likely that Mr. Robot will encourage Angela to keep sedating him or do whatever she can to prevent Elliot from even showing up to the building on Monday, if I had to

I’m inclined to agree with you. I think the Supercollider we got a glimpse of in episode 1 of this season is what Whiterose is using to manipulate Angela, but I don’t think it will actually “work” and create some sort of alternate timeline.

Wasn’t the name of the FBI’s operation in Season 2 “Operation Berenstain”? That was clearly a wink and nod to the alternate universe theory.

Next week looks insane based on the preview they aired after this episode. They also said it’s going to be uninterrupted with no commercials. Shit is gonna go down!

That’s kind of what I took from the BTK stuff. Just seemed to me a way to indicate that there were people out there at the time doing horrific things despite the FBI’s best efforts, and Rader wasn’t caught for another 25+ years after when we see him in these scenes. There are probably serial killers in the US right

I hope this means that by the time 1983 comes around in the show’s timeline, we get to hear Iron Maiden’s kick-ass “Flight of Icarus” as a musical queue, “on-the-nose” be damned!

He only directed 2 episodes of House of Cards, I would add

If Rader isn’t active again as a killer until 1985, then the show is probably going to jump ahead quite a few years for season 2, I’d imagine. Or maybe it will just delve into Rader’s family life as a dad and husband more? I read an interview with Rader’s daughter a year or 2 ago and it was so heartbreaking.

Brudos seems to get along great with the guard Tony at his prison, so I wouldn’t have assumed he was a racist, either.

As a parent, the thought of anyone luring in my son and touching him that way just makes me queasy. There is no excuse for that type of behavior, and I would absolutely want that person to lose their job, especially if they had been told not to do it by several parents and coworkers beforehand.

I also liked the scene with the Tenches, and Nancy actually showing sympathy and giving Bill a hug instead of being scared of him was great, I felt.
