Look up the terms nightmarefuel and uncanny valley and then bring them back to the discussion. Westernised adverts would be just as bad if they ventured into some of those territories. Some do, but there is a propensity in east-asian propaganda for the style like the one that I commented on.
Very cool, but I was expecting them to be a bit more 'handsy'
Sure, let's make it about that.
It's really not about the skin tone for me, it's the uncanny valley look of them.
Nobody else has a similar reaction to these hyper-idealised east Asian propaganda pictures?
I was a bit surprised by that, but the data would suggest that there is a skew in countries with overall low amounts of economic inequality towards having better gender equality too.
The original data says too that overall inequality can overemphasise the gender inequality, so a part of it might be due to that. But not enough to feel happy about.
-Edit. And even in that case, the overall inequality would be a fucking disgrace.
A bar chart perhaps? It makes more sense than a list system. But you seem to be arguing a point I wasn't making.
The number in the list doesn't really mean anything as it's not an interval scale. It's the quantity of inequality that's important.
Well. That might be true as a theory, but it's still horseshit for the actual point of what people mean when they say it.
Being less of a dick, I'd say that it would be possible with a cup mounted on an arm secured to a hinge. Let the bullet hit the cup and keep spinning until it looses its momentum.
Why are people like this described as lucky? The woman sounds like a fucking curse.
He certainly is a popular hero in South Africa, and a lot of that comes from his legal work fighting for what was then 'coloured rights' in South Africa. This came from the realisation that Indians could be treated as badly as black people in the Boer controlled regions. In a lot of those cases he fought for the…
Nobody can ever say that Ghandi was a nice person. Just to begin with, there were his pro-Apartheid attitudes.
You're bad and you should feel bad.
"He handled his secretions.... poorly"
I just wonder what popularity there was for printed media of any form at that period, in that something like that could be distributed or made.
This is the English civil war 1640-50 right?
I do, with gusto!
Truly, an acronym worthy of Nasa or the US military.
