For some jobs, like truck drivers, yes. For other jobs that require technical knowledge and training, like tool and die makers, manufacturing set up, and skilled trades, the issue isn’t salaries.

Alessi should have known how difficult those cars are to drive with a throbbing erection.

Benoit? Balls?

Price gouging is really about unconscionable pricing of necessities. Nobody needs to go on vacation to Hawaii, or drive a car while they’re there.

You do realize you're comparing a life saving device to analogue gauges, right?

What is the problem with the 2nd gen GTO?

Or maybe that person just sucks ass at driving? He almost floored the thing while nearly at full lock with a garage 5 yards in front of him and a dropoff 5 yards to the right. Anyone with a brain knows not to do that.

This is not an either-or situation. I think the right solution is a 200mi BEV with a very clean ICE range extender. If you add something like this eFuel to power the range extender then there is very little environmental penalty to letting people have a vehicle that can be both 100% electric for daily commutes but

I would be all over this. Any chance to continue driving my V8 Jag way into the future with minimal environmental cost. I do not mind paying more for the fuel.

As a person who thinks motorcyclists should be able to take this risk if they so desire, the pedantic statistician in me still can’t help but call out how ridiculous your comment is.

If you can get heat stroke on your mode of transport, you should seek out alternate transportation. I mean, WTF.

No brain is what you’re going to have left if you keep lane-splitting.

Apparently you’re expected to spend a few hundred to a couple thousand dollars upgrading it straight from the factory (or fixing its flaws if you prefer) to make it not a terrible motorcycle.

However Jalopnik should disclose that their advertisers are allowed to direct and influence content. That’s what your editor in chief for G/O Media told you guys.  Remember... and then a bunch of people resigned in protest.

I think FCA really let a lot of the heritage die on the vine over the past decade or so.

1st: Let’s stop pretending Dodge and Ram are different brands. There is almost no reason to continue selling Fiats in America. Chrysler seems to be doomed, but there is a lot of brand equity there that shouldn’t be written off. Seems like the proper thing to do would be to bring out some new Chrysler models in the US.

What that is, is keeping modern - safe - vehicles expensive so that people who need them can’t afford them. Because it’s real easy to spend somebody else’s money.

Not entirely, anymore. I’ve seen Sprinters and Rams at my hub. I think I read/heard that they will eventually replace their custom trucks with more standard Sprinter types as time goes on.
