As a small business owner that deals with customers all over the country, I can’t just ingore calls I don’t know. Furthermore, most of these spammy calls mask the number and use a local area code.

If only workers could form some kind of collective organization to help them stand against the abuses of people who run unions. I have this vision of a system where the workers could elect a spokesman to bargain with the union leaders over how funds would be used, and threaten to refuse to do union work if they can’t

Hell, for that matter he just described a ‘71 Cadillac Fleetwood!

you realize that Mahindra has been making this “clone” under license since WWII right, since before the current “Jeep” company even existed...

not exactly a chinese knockoff.  and Jeep’s legal arguments were all horseshit.

Linked article says the sails are 80 meters tall not 80 feet.

I’m guessing you haven’t seen what the typical Sturgis attendee looks like if you think they still have grandparents.

Ok, I’ll say it. from the 3/4 front view I though it was a modified Mustang.

Wouldn’t the Saturn Vue Redline be a more recent collab?

We are obviously sparring over nothing, but I stand by my statement and will continue, because frankly, I have nothing better to do. To me “very remote” would imply that it is hard to access and is visited by very few people. The Mackinac Bridge is neither of these things.

Not sure how familiar you are with the area, but that does not tell the story whatsoever. It is an incredibly popular tourist spot in the summer, and I’m sure the daytime summer population exceeds that by many multiples. The bridge is also part of I-75, a major north/south highway.

“In 1989 a woman was killed when a 48-mile an hour gust of wind tossed her Yugo over the side of the Mac like a toy.”

The last time GMG did any ‘real’ reporting it didn’t end very well.

Thanks it was

It doesn’t matter how honest you are with your mechanic, we’ll find out anyway. Mileage doesn’t lie. Neither do worn out brake pads, grooved rotors, bald tires, oil that has reverted to tar, electrode-less plugs, cracked wires, decades old date stamps on filters, timing chains that rub through castings, hard-as-a-rock

If you’re going to force a video on us, at least put subtitles on it. You know there are people out there with hearing problems who like to read along with those of us killing time at work without sound.

Same here, it’s mostly while I’m at work, and maybe on the weekends while I’m being lazy with my coffee.

Exactly. Here at work with no sound. Can someone give the written version?

Same. Let’s get a written copy, please.

I don’t even know where to begin with stories. But, what never ceases to amaze me is how many people think auto technicians won’t figure out what ACTUALLY happened.
