Only if it comes with the bizarre orb-type shifter the S60R had.

Not an insurance adjuster (but been in multiple accidents both on and off road), but I’ve found that if you’re straight forward and honest, they’re usually pretty accommodating. I sunk a vehicle in a river (flash flood, basically), and owned up to it, and they opted to cover it, even though I was technically not on a

I will now be praying that the exec’s at Volvo take offense at the ‘world’s fastest brick’ comment, and this sparks the beginning of a war between the two companies over who can build the highest powered station wagon.

Interesting. I’ve never hauled anything in such a manner (besides trucks big enough that they didn’t notice dirt bikes in the bed).

What does that have to do with everyone putting 6" lift kits on them? Of course it’s a large truck, that’s not the issue. It’s the fact it’s a large truck that’s now 12' tall and sitting on 38's that’ve never seen dirt that’s the issue.

I’ve a 66 F100 long bed, and my dream truck remains: 2wd F350 extended cab, single bed, King Ranch interior. That would be long enough to tow just about any trailer I could want without many wagging concerns, but small enough it’s not like parking an aircraft carrier.

You’re right about vintage trucks being simpler

When actually writing by hand, I do this. I use two different sizes of upper-case characters.

As someone shopping for a used truck, I cannot tell you how much this trend infuriates me. I’m looking for a truck I can use to tow, and I’ve come to realize that, whatever I buy? I have to factor “stock-height suspension” into the purchase price. Every one ton truck that isn’t bare bones has a 3+” lift on it (as for

Do you really think lowering it ~6" is really going to have that much of an effect on it? Look at how close it is to the ceiling as/is. If you mounted it to the top of the trunk/back of the roof, it’s basically the same, but you could (feasibly) set it up to be removable, so you could, you know, some day sell the car.

In Defense of Testing the Waters:
If you list a price, I’d say it’s okay? I’ve a truck posted for sale at the moment, it’s very clearly on the higher end of what the truck’s worth, but I have it blatantly in the ad that I don’t have to sell the truck, and so I’m not interested in haggling/low-balls,etc. That’s

Well, the shift has a lot, imo, to do with fuel economy requirements. Until CUV’s get their own categorization, and are considered to be the same as sedans, they benefit from the CAFE fuel economy exemptions that SUV’s get. The intent, at the time, was to not kill SUV’s entirely, but the result was that SUV’s are

There’s way too little methgenuity in that idea, though. Mine might be the low-meth option, but it’s still a meth-head idea.

Why not just mount the bar onto the roof/trunk without having cut into things? Sure, it’d make your bike sit a lot higher, but tow straps from the handle bars and front-forks to the front bumper of the Benz would give you just as much control, and it’s just as likely to be a giant wing as this configuration is.

I think next is frogs? Isn’t the third plague frogs? Or was it locusts...

Man, I came for the tacky faux-celeb, but now I’m just jealous. Lamb tacos sounds delicious.

If this is done while parked? Awesome. Kudos for bringing joy into people’s lives. If he drives around like this? Pull him over and warn him. Still does it? Ticket him. I don’t care if you think I’m mean. Most of the lights on the sides of the car are blue. Those, while driving WILL look like cop lights, and

I test drove an S65 last fall, on a damp day. There is something genuinely surreal about doing 45 down the on-ramp, and putting your foot into the car, to get to highway speeds, and realizing you’re still doing 45 because you just lost traction, and are now skating down the onramp with 0 control and the back wheels

The difference, I suppose, is in the quality of the black lace and piercings worn.

Today’s Internal Debate: Was it Kristen, or Fancy Kristen, that had a goth stage? Because this post makes me convinced one of them did.

True, though that ‘06 is 700lbs heavier, and I’d wager less fuel efficient overall. Personally, I’d rather have a rig that, if I break down on a trail, and have to get hauled out? I only have to pay to be towed to the trailhead, and not all the way home.
