Speaking of Discovery...how about James Frain?  He’s got the look, the acting chops, the accent ability, and if you’ve seen his other work, he does menacing REALLY well.

What about James Frain?  He certainly has the stillness and menace down, and he wouldn’t be too distractingly famous.

Lasagna Come Out Tomorrow

I feel seen.

I eagerly await Paul F. Tompkins’ spin on this documentary.

Based on my similarly specific, yet fuzzy memories, it was in the ads and trailer, but not the movie itself. It’s also possible there’s more than one cut of the movie in print, but I bet it was just cut from the final film.

Samara is awesome. I discovered her channel a few months ago and it’s so great she’s being featured here!

I was so mad they snubbed Rhea Seehorn again, I didn’t even THINK about how great Dalton was. You’re absolutely right. You couldn’t look away from him anytime he was on-screen.  (Except maybe that scene when Kim fronted off to Lalo.  Christ that was tense!)

“Darkness Falls” was the first episode I saw too!! I watched the rest of the season, then caught up when they re-ran it over the summer.  I was hooked. 

I completely agree about the music. Reminds me a lot of Williams’ “Parade of the Slave Children” from Temple of Doom. Excited to hear more of Göransson’s work.

I also LOVE the concept art credits, like from an old western. I don’t know if that’s all real concept art or if it’s drawn specifically for the credits, but…

So sad. He was such a nice, sweet guy. A real A+ Hu-Man.
