Oh my God, one of the best parts of the game!  I could never bring myself to turn those off.

I like Marlon Wayans, but if they do a live-action Plastic Man and he isn’t played by Ben Schwartz, they’re out of their minds

I worked in a movie theater in the Summer of ‘99, and I saw Phantom Menace at least 5-6 times, start to finish. Sure the acting wasn’t great (because Lucas didn’t care about that part) and the caricatures and stereotypes were awful, even on the first viewing, but that opening day screening was ELECTRIC. Whenever I was

I just realized the other day that this would have to have taken place, and I can’t stop thinking about it. I mean, it wouldn’t have fit in the end of the movie, but what a scene that would be.

Hell no.

I used to sell power transformers for a living, and if this was really caused by a transformer explosion, someone at ConEd needs to be fired for this.  The amount of negligence required for a transformer to explode is HUGE.

I’ve been so pissed at Disney for years, but not about casting. I’ve hated this “Let’s remake every animated classic to cash-in” trend. I had ZERO interest in seeing this movie. But now? Hell yeah I’m going to see it!

Imagine the nerve of Disney!  Casting an actor based on their singing ability and screen test?!?  For

Ooooh, you better believe imma try this.

Those Mysterio illusion scenes were incredible.  I’m going to see it in IMAX this weekend just to get another look at them.

The chair thing is because he was very tall and also had a messed up back. The “Riker Maneuver” was a way of coping.  It’s also why he always had one leg up on stuff.

Oh, Andrea Romano is a hall of fame casting director, to be sure. Sadly, she is now retired. But if you wanted to be excited about animation in the past 35 years, just look for the phrase “Casting and Voice Direction by Andrea Romano.”

Sarah Finn and Allison Jones are the best casting directors working right now, hands-down.

You are absolutely correct, but Choral and Vocal are two different kinds of music. Vocal just means the instrument was a human voice. Choral means composed for or sung by a choir or chorus, which must by definition be more than one person. (It’s a music nerd distinction that genuinely doesn’t matter, but my degree is

Yeah, only the Emperor’s Theme has any choral parts, and it’s only men’s voices.  Duel of the Fates was the first full choral piece.

I completely agree.  Clone Wars didn’t just make him more layered and interesting, it also gave us one of the coolest lightsaber battles in all of Star Wars:  Savage & Maul vs. Sidious.

This adaptation already had a great cast, but Josie Lawrence is playing Agnes?!?  That’s inspired.

That’s my only real issue. Despite foreshadowing this from the beginning, they took so many narrative shortcuts to bring Dany to this point that it feels false.

Damn.  Respect where its deserved.

I grew up in Arizona, and Chandler is a poor town with a shit hospital. CRMC is owned by Dignity Health, one of the largest providers in the country. Their pockets are VERY deep and I truly hope they pay through the nose. (I mean, they won’t, because of Malpractice Insurance, but at least the family may get something

I call the dudes in the Night King’s Entourage “Frozen Willie Nelson.”
