“Fresh as though 2006 was just yesterday...” I love this. Also the running over a kid/Camry comparison is gold.

this is awesome, but i wonder what’s wrong with the sound? there’s a methodic pop that is not from anything in the car and it disrupts the nat sound.
faster than the new gt3? around a track?
will be very interested to hear what you think about the XDiavel. i didn’t think the power was as exciting as the OG Diavel, myself. and i’m not so into having my feet our in front of me, legs spread wide...

fcking obviously! what did he expect?
more importantly — the Ape Machine! gotta download me some of that goodness.
i want to sound like a dick: do you honestly need to make videos every fucking winter proving that winter tires work better in the winter?
not even 1 second, actually. looks so not fun.
yeah i don’t think anyone — even those idiots who ride without a helmet — would argue that it’s not more dangerous to do so. we don’t need any empirical evidence to back that up. it’s just that these people believe it’s their right to increase their own risk of massive head trauma or death if they so choose. can’t…
above a certain speed it seems pretty stupid to keep it on the ground — am i the only one who wonders why they don’t just fly at this point?
i would ride anything, even the H2R death machine. not because i’m good at riding fast, mind you. i’m not really. but i’m really good at riding fast bikes slow. i have this insane ability not to twist the throttle all the way and then switching up the gears 5,000 RPMs away from the redline!
riding slow bikes fast gets…
great review, makes me want to ride one! it does seem like it’d be a little heavy though — i have taken the GS off-road in the alps and it was slightly terrifying, and back home in new york i have a multistrada that is equally big and top-heavy for real off-roading. the dct is fascinating.
i would argue the superquadro also sounds much better — to my mind it’s the best sounding superbike there is, though i’ve never heard and ape rsv4 in person.
DO YOU realize how easy an s1000rr is to ride? much easier than an 899. there’s a reason they use the bimmer as a training bike at keith code’s california superbike school.
i wouldn’t roar around my neighborhood, blasting the harley at 1 in the morning either! but it sounds perfect with slash cut exhausts only, no mufflers at all. just got it, and it’s more fun because it’s more loud.
however, if i’m driving around at 1 in the morning, chances are i’m drunk, so i would not be on a…
think this car will pass emissions without cheating?
yeah, i’d say that’s on hold.
yeah, volkswagen has a ton of cash lying around to invest in development, marketing and sales. the lamborghini urus is coming soon too.
no, that won’t happen.

as someone who normally rides european bikes only, and is now desperately lusting after a fat bob, i wonder what makes you say harley davidson makes poor products? is this just general knowledge?
yesterday i asked a ducati mechanic, who previously worked for BMW, about the quality of harley davidson bikes. and he said,…
i love the new hyper riding position and the lightness of the bike, but the 821 feels kind of gutless after the 1100. sounds weak too. i hope they can fix that — of the bigger engines i love the 1198 testastretta and the 1199 superquadro. the latter would be sick in a hyper!
