Best thing about this video: It reminded me of how fantastic the Lego Movie is.

Oh, nice!

Johnny-come-latelys is not fair. The comic-book Avengers pre-date Steed & Peel by a couple months at least!

See also, Heroes.

May I put a word in for the oft-overlooked but (IMO) best Muppets Christmas movie, namely Muppet Family Christmas. It's on YouTube in it's entirety, and rules! It not only has the Muppets, but also Sesame Street, The Fraggles, and Muppet Babies. It also is one of the only Muppet movies to have Jim Henson in it!

Thanks for the answer, and generally for coming to talk to us.

Can I second the keith82's opinion that your work on Scrapheap Challenge was brilliant?

I know..it's tough! I also like his Voltaire>Dante thing.

Well actually, without the CC (or with it set to 0) you have contraction or expansion depending on initial conditions. The CC essentially tells you how much energy there is in the vacuum. This energy has a pressure associated with it, so if you give it a specific value you can cancel this contraction/expansion.

Me too! I got excited for a second.. like maybe the date on my computer, and also in my brain, was wrong!

Oh if only!!!

Pretty much! That plus initial conditions!

Well, it was a great blunder in that he accidentally stumbled on one of the most interesting problems in physics, and predicted something that people had difficulty accepting even when it was experimentally observed!

The bane of many physicists lives for many a decade!

So yeah, Einstein predicted an expanding universe, didn't like it, and added the cosmological constant. Basically, the cosmological constant was fixed to a certain number so that the universe all balanced out. When it was found that the universe didn't all balance out, Einstein thought he could throw away the

I wasn't doing anything for the sake of being snarky, I was merely stating that I think that this is rather uninspired work. Especially considering it's from the team who gave us an excellent first teaser trailer, and for a movie which, despite it's credentials, has some work to do to convince the public of it's

Really? How does that work?

Well true. But even with that clever touch, it's still a little less bombastic than I think it should have been. You could have gone against the grain in a more dynamic way.

Oh, I'm sure it will be. I'm really looking forward to it. I was just saying, that's not a great poster.
