I loved it. I listened to the audiobook and the slow, deep narration really emphasized Bradbury's talent for conjuring perfect images. He's really one of the great authors for capturing complex emotions in single scene or image, or line.
Just incredible.

Finished Something Wicked This Way Comes. Listened to Townes Van Zandt, Live at the Old Quarter a whole bunch. Not much else.

It is a testament to the show's grasp of characters that I knew exactly what show this was and which characters said it without seeing a single frame or reading a single review of the episode.

Have you read John Wyndhamm's Day Of The Triffids? It's not a zombie story at all, but many modern zombie tales (Walking Dead and 28 Days Later most liberally) have used its structure and ideas as inspiration.

FALL FAIR!!! Gonna eat midway food and watch my 2 year old niece go on all the rides. Last year there was wrestling. Maybe there will be more wrestling.
