I didn't think about that, but you're right. A lot of it felt not like an exercise in expanding the story of Star Wars, but in shrinking it down.

The score is good, and there are a couple of good action sequences, but it's very poorly conceived on a story level and badly paced.
Nowhere near the trainwreck of Attack Of The Clones though.
