Star Wars is bad.
Star Wars is bad.
Yeah, the finale really saves the series. I feel like between DS9-tie-ins and Lifetime Original Movie plots the last season is a real step down from the glorious S6.
Don't forget the final season episode where Beverly falls in love with a candleghost. (There is a SURPRISING amount of trash in that last season).
Every day man, every day.
I guess, but it didn't really explore much about the Marquis that we don't see elsewhere. It did feel kind of like a good DS9 episode, and I enjoyed it, but its positioning so close to the end of the show really threw me.
Man, I really miss The Dissolve's TIFF coverage.
Finished Star Trek: The Next Generation. I've never been 100% sold on the last half of the final season. There are too many dud episodes, and the choice to have the penultimate story of the entire season be a Ro Laren story with cameos from the main crew is a baffling one. The final episode doesn't quite tie things…
If you're using a spoon, you're eating it, if you aren't, you're an animal.
I'll get her on it as soon as she's seen all of Season 1.
Tennenbaums was my fave for a LONG time (until I saw GBH actually) (I saw Moonrise Kingdom after GBH)
Bottle Rocket is the only one I haven't seen!
Fantastic Mr Fox is really great! The animation is really fun, and the movie is one of his funniest. Also, Bruce Willis!
Grand Budapest over here, but I don't think there's a wrong answer to this one.
Given the auspicious date, probably whichever Star Trek movies you haven't seen. Unless the one you haven't seen is Star Trek Into Darkness, in which case you should watch Galaxy Quest.
I just checked out some reviews, and people are comparing it to Batman TAS. I'm gonna have to watch it now for sure!
Man, you're turning me around on this show now. It's starting to sound great.
Yeah, the imagery already looks great from the trailer. But the concept and writing seem SO terrible.
Why do so many well-respected filmmakers flail when they get to TV? It seems like only Soderbergh has managed the transition effectively.
(Baz Luhrman too, if the reports about The Get Down are to be believed).
I never saw his Spectacular Spider-man. How was it?
Based on the trailer: Either they're going for Over The Top Camp, or they have NO idea what that even looks like, so they don't know that that is what JL is doing.
I mean, if you've already done all the things I just said, why NOT cast Jude Law?
