Repilot review coming within the next 30-60 minutes. Full disclosure, it is too long and I go way over-the-top in analyzing it's meta aspects. It's neither the review you deserve, nor the review you need.

I think The Flash did this in a really good way. It was never made into a thing, barely really mentioned, but part of a well-rounded (if minor) character.

Sorry it's taking so long! I will be done soon I promise! :(

"Nenni!" - The Cat, for some reason.

Yeah, you can totally tell Cordy is pregnant. It's pretty hard to hide at this point.

The before we go on mid-season hiatus twist made me gasp out loud, but the fantasy twist made me literally stand up out of my chair and say "Holy shit!" Yeah, both are pretty amazing.

Yeah totally. But I really feel like it was exactly the tone that the show needed to sell it's particularly brand of goofy sincerity.

Nice! It'd also make a great HBO series if we can't get feature films.

It's really good. They don't have a huge budget, but the atmosphere is perfect. Also Alec Guinness is fantastic.

Oh man, that'd be fantastic! Did TTSS do well enough financially to warrant a sequel?

I'm not sure I would call it terrible dialogue, but it is certainly unsubtle, kinda cheesy and overly earnest. Which is also basically how I'd describe all of the Wacowskis post-matrix work.

George Smiley is such a fantastic creation. I would love to see a franchise of the Karla trilogy with the TTSS cast. Or even start a fresh with Call For The Dead and do all the Smiley books.

I actually achieved very little Pop Culturally this weekend. I basically watched three episodes of Angel (Awakening, Soulless and Calvary (4/10,4/11 and 4/12)) one of which had one of the best executed twists I've ever seen on an episode of television.
I also watched about half of Beats Rhymes and Life the Tribe

Hey all. Sorry about the delay on the first Community review. Had an unexpectedly busy weekend. Should be going up later today!

Without looking at the list i cant think of a single frame of that movie Id include. I'd pick shots from transformers over anything in Forrest Gump.

I have no problem if you wanted to do Repilot. I've only written about half so far, and a lot of it could probably be repurposed. Or we could do two reviews: We're the adults now, we make the rules.

You called?

Yeah, for sure. I always find it interesting how people talk about troubled productions after the fact; whether they claim them as evidence of a genius at work, or unbelievable incompetence, or somewhere in between.

I can't help but feel that if the film was any good, a lot of this stuff would be spun in a more positive light/outright ignored/dismissed as rumor.

Sweet. Tbqh, I'd be surprised if Hader tied himself to the show longterm at this point. He's a busy man.
