I’m sure it fits well I just think it Doesn’t allow for more interesting enemies, gear, “powers” and environments and the like that games like this rest upon.

Compared to vanilla destiny (the thing I’m comparing) which was 15 hours for full completion I'd say the division is doing a great job.
I have roughly the same amount of time in destiny.
Agreed.
That sounds like misery.
Like I'm not talking about a quick look to see how game plays I'm talking about people who straight up just watch a game being played because that's entertaining to them.
I agree with you there's a difference between liking sports and liking to watch sports.
The whole culture around watching people play a game that you could be playing boggles my mind. You know what is the most irritating thing in the world? Watching someone else play a video game!
this all sounds like a nightmare but what do I know I'm an old man.
Who said a planet sized map? I'm talking about larger maps, not a map the size of a planet, though that would be cool. Maybe some of that No Mans Sky tech could make that possible.
Obviously a couple million people will buy something with his name on it still. Hence why we are here having this discussion.
The scaling is total bull shit but whatever. I liked being able to carry my friends in higher level destiny levels.
Yeah I think MGS series is a good example of you can go for military realism in so aspects but get goofy in others and still tell a story that resonates. Also just trying to be “real” kind of limits the boss encounters.
I haven’t noticed a change in instanced roaming enemies of anything the closer you get to the last man brigade areas the more often they happen from what I’ve seen.
There are enough side missions to keep you occupied after you reach level 30 it was lame that no new side missions pop up once you hit 30. But there's a enough there that you still have a multiple hours of out of the dark zone gun play going on.
In my heart I hope that Division 2 is set in California Bay Area and the year will be 2035 or something and a power you get is a some time of Exo suit.
Crazy because mechanically I’d compare to an open world version of the ME3 multiplayer with some SOCOM sprinkled about over destiny in the respects of how the game actually plays. But it does require a lot more tactical thinking with enemy engagements again as compared to destiny which is more a halo in that respect a…
For me personally I'd rather go online and find people that will likely be halfway competent rather than trusting some random match made people. I think the best matchmaking for either of these games are your favorite video game forum.
I wish that the division wasnt shackled to the Tom Clancy name. With that name comes a style and tone that I think destiny does a better job with.
One thing that this game has done better than destiny and it’s a big thing is that there are a dick load of side quests and side missions to finish after you hit level thirty. Trust me I did it last week. So the DZ isn’t the only stuff for you to do once you hit 30, and it’s definitely not the only place for you to…
