Would you please teach me, if you can, about the difference between the anthropic principle as defined in Wikipedia and Positivism as also defined in wikipedia, and particularly positivism as discussed by Hawking in his books?

A new console generation is what arises every 6-8 years and means one must now pay 300-500$ dollars to play the latest games.
Not much... but some people can never pass up the opportunity to be a snob about something. Makes them feel superior.
Um...what was so terrible about this console generation?
That was my favourite colossus, mostly because it was nice being able to use Aggro in a fight. Plus it was kind of relaxing because Phalanx never attacks. It was hard work timing the jumps, but while I failed so often I mostly enjoyed learning how to fully control Aggro (the 180° spin and the instant gallop are my…
I too miss the days of Unreal Tournament.
Erm, it kinda goes both ways actually. BF3 is an example fitting your description for sure.
MAG did the multi-player only thing. It actually was pulled off pretty well I thought. I liked the rpg element it had.
Like Titanfall? That is multiplayer only if I am not mistaken...and it looks phenomenal.
I've managed to beat it a handful of times, normally just scraping by in the last fight (i normally try to take out that damned missle launcher first). At least FTL has taught me something, when we really try to go out into space we're going to die; suffocation, fire, and stupid slugs will be the end of us all. Still…
The Boss is stupidly overpowered the first time you see it, but I've gone on to beat the game multiple times, on both Easy and Normal with different configurations.
It is difficult getting there, but that's why easy mode exists. What you can do is just reset the game if you haven't gotten Cloaking, Transporter, and 2 Mantis Men by sector 3 or 4. Having all of those (and using the rest of your scrap for general upgrades), you can easily shut down the Rebel Flagship by boarding,…
I killed the final boss the first time I played this game.
I managed to buy all equipment (getting the Full Arsenal achievement) and got through the first part of the boss fight...then I got spammed by bots and died without knowing what happened. Then I gave up...
I hear you on this one, I had to go to easy to make it to the final boss, then I beat it, then it comes back even stronger while my ship is engulfed in flames and my last crew member is choking due to a lack of oxygen...Nope.
I kickstarted FTL and I'm glad I did, it was fun while it lasted, and it lasted right up to my second boss fight, my ship was pimp, my crew were murderers, the boss WTFPWND! us :(
Not enough. Wii U needs to be $250. It is a secondary system to play Nintendo games only, thats where they have positioned it, intentional or not. Because of the weak hardware, lack of hardrive standard for devs to use. They put that tablet in instead of just going all out with hardware and making a system to…
the controls can definetley feel a bit funky at the beginning, but as you progress through the game it gets really awesome. just my personal opinion, i think you should try doing a full play through.
I see people bitch about this all the time. Ultimately you have unrealistic expectations for pricing on hardware given what is in it. Without the prices for the memory cards being high then the device would probably be a good 50 to 100 more.
for the anthropic principle, which is a polite term for intelligent design.
