I think I speak for a good number of trekkies when I say... too bad it didn’t stay that way. (spoilers btw, so... you’ve been warned, seriously I’m gonna get preachy and annoying if you think this show is really good, so strap in or move on.)

I just realized why I’m still checking Kotaku dozens of times a day unlike other blogs (including gizmodo and io9 which I used to like but hate these days) : It’s the lack (or rarity) of clickbait titles that you need to click to find out major details of the story.

you seem to be the only comment appart from my own grey one to be mentioning this.

It’s all mental health this, rip that... and it’s true, mental health very often takes a part in tragedies like this. but mental health issues knows no border... or walls ^^. Gun violence seems to do so, mainly the borders that don’t

Whoa bro who kicked your balls today that you’re so grumpy?

I get what you’re saying but I think the issue is more complicated than you’re making it out to be. Just for example: I enjoy drinking, but if a doctor told me tomorrow that I have to completely give up alcohol, I could do it no problem. But I work with people nearly every day who, despite their health being ravaged

Similar story here - my girls (7 and 9) love to play, as do I, but my wife and I are as strict as we can be regarding game or tablet time for this reason.

I dunno, I played games as a kid, but I also had pretty strict boundaries, with games and television (I was given maybe an hour and a half of screen media a day, but got to chose to distribute it between TV or games. Media ratings were strictly stuck to), but they were never held out of reach or put on a pedestal. I

Thinking that you should decide what your children do or don’t do based on peer pressure is the dumbest thing I have read all day.  Perhaps you should stop giving terrible uncalled for advice.  Which isn’t a value judgment on you as a human being but...

You’re kind of a shithead, just letting you know.

Particularly now that most kids have tablets and phones, and can therefore effectively be plugged in virtually constantly. It’s pretty jarring to see how little kids of that age interact with the world around them.

Like at Trump rallies?

Fewer.

I think Sim City is simultaneously more and less nuanced than that.

This is why you unionize. Except we won’t fucking do it because as Americans we’re apparently broken at such a fundamental level we think we deserve this treatment to get ahead. And who told you that...?

Y'all motherfuckers need unions

The 90s almost killed the comics industry, actually. The speculator boom was devastating once it crashed and led Marvel to file for bankruptcy. And Image was instrumental in fueling that boom, especially Liefeld, whose lateness and inability to focus on a single book was one of the major factor that killed Valiant

The purity olympics in America need too fucking stop. I am a left leaning, liberal woman of color. This shit needs to stop. This is why people end up becoming the Trump supporters we see in ever-growing millions these days. Nothing is enough. They all apologized. Fred Armisen was playing Barack Obama, not making fun

Now playing
