Man, what a great time the early-mid 2000's were for SUV. The FX and SRX were ‘What is that?!’ cool, the TB SS was cheap, fast, and mean, the JGC SRT8 was reasonable, even faster, and even meaner, the RRs looked great, and even the Porsche and BMW were still pretty cool.

Agreed. The big one is supposed to be built on MQB evo, which I guess counts as MQB, but the guy standing beside this makes it look a lot more CR-V sized than Pilot sized.

Not according to Car and Driver back in the day.

Does the 4S sound good? Like, at least passable? I never had much of a problem with the power available in the base Panamera, but dear God did that V6 sound like a bucket of rocks revving out to redline.

You need more stars. Just because they’re priced similarly does not mean they are at all competitors. Yes, they get put in comparison tests, but it’s kind of like when the Lexus ES used to get put up against the 3-series et al back in the day - that’s so few cats in the segment, you have to put it up against

All sorts of no.

No.

Heeeeeyyyyyy, this one just got done schlepping a few sports fans to VIR!

I’m guessing you mean a High Point in Yankeeland, but just wanted to check, as High Point, NC is a fairly significant place!

“The engines and transmissions”

But, but Toyotas never break or need repairs! Surely you’re lying! Just some media propaganda, nothing to see here, folks.

So, like an i3?

Or even in the back, sandwiched between the wheels, but still well under the load floor.

All this talk about how everyone ever sucks at merging, and no mention of the pre-update Dodge Challenger police car?

But, he readily admitted it had a lot more to do with BMW than the car itself. I believe he said he’d actually like to have another someday.

Oh yeah, I was quite surprised at how much I disliked driving the X1. Was like driving a can, and the interior seemed very low-rent. The engine had decent power though, which was appreciated.

Really? I did the same thing here in Raleigh, and I frankly hated how the 7 drove. It seemed really floaty and wallow - kept checking to make sure it was in Sport, and went through the menu to make sure it was ‘Chassis and Drivetrain’, but it seemed like a boat. That interior though, that was amazing. Couldn’t get

I have always wanted to see some of these. Every time I see a bunch of the Verados or V8 Yamaha on the back of a big boat, I think ‘why wouldn’t you jist get two of those LSA outboards and be done?

I don’t know about recently, but back in the day, somehow the ‘original’ G500 managed to be thirstier than the N/A G55, and I believe the Supercharged G55 as well. Not sure about more recently, our even a decent explanation as to how that happened.

Who in the world is buying this when the M6 GC is a thing that exists and that you can buy?
