Man, what a great time the early-mid 2000's were for SUV. The FX and SRX were ‘What is that?!’ cool, the TB SS was cheap, fast, and mean, the JGC SRT8 was reasonable, even faster, and even meaner, the RRs looked great, and even the Porsche and BMW were still pretty cool.

Oh yeah, I was quite surprised at how much I disliked driving the X1. Was like driving a can, and the interior seemed very low-rent. The engine had decent power though, which was appreciated.

I have always wanted to see some of these. Every time I see a bunch of the Verados or V8 Yamaha on the back of a big boat, I think ‘why wouldn’t you jist get two of those LSA outboards and be done?

I don’t know about recently, but back in the day, somehow the ‘original’ G500 managed to be thirstier than the N/A G55, and I believe the Supercharged G55 as well. Not sure about more recently, our even a decent explanation as to how that happened.
