Expect every major controller manufacturer to have some sort of game pad available for the new iPhones and the old iPads and iPod Touches by the end of the year. Meanwhile, game manufacturers will poke at the idea, maybe half-heartedly add controller support to their games to see if anyone bites.

Everyone plays Pokemon differently and for different reasons. It's one of my favorite things about the series, because you can take so many different tacts, and while they're not all for everyone, none of them are wrong.

Does anyone else think about half the colors they chose for this thing are bizarre and atrocious? Especially when mashed-up in that collage thing they keep parading around. It's like a colorblind rainbow.

Yeah, those people would be in a pickle, and I'm guessing HG/SS/D/P are being excluded due to some complication with the engine they're running on, but nothing's perfect. I think this will be the beginning of Pokemon Bank being a regular thing from one generation to another.

Also, they were explicitly talking about the service going on long into the future, past the 3DS. And yes, there'll be Nintendo handheld after the 3DS. It'd take some crazy technological wizardry for phones to replicate and replace what they offer.

This is long-term, cross-platform, multi-generational storage. It costs money. Surprise! =D

No joke: now I can stop living in fear of my DS carts just one day breaking, and all my Pokemon disappearing into the ether.

Also Wii U has no games [that I personally would want to play bad enough that I would purchase the system, but I can certainly understand why others, with their personal preferences, would want to purchase a Wii U and play games that I, personally, with my preferences, would not, in my preference, wish to play.
