I did the same thing, except in reverse, and when I saw Secret of Mana, I was super bummed. The lack of it showing up on VC (or anywhere else, for that matter) has been a real disappointment. That game is an overlooked delight.

Overlooked or, sometimes, unappreciated because it's so out of the vein of the previous games. I have it on the Wii. :) I can't imagine that game without the creepy, crackly phone calls coming from the Wii Remote.

The touchpad being sold up at all is such crazy talk. If it had been a touchscreen, we'd be having a different conversation; it'd be no Wii U, but at least it would be more interesting (and more useful).
