I was determined to write a lengthy rebuttal, covering how I was talking about the Wii U backlog and my Wii backlog as separate things, that I'm also a PC gamer and have 100+ games on my Steam account, 75% of which I've never completed, and that while I understand the 3DS early adoption issues, I felt no issues with

I should really just endorse one paycheck a month to Nintendo and give up the charade of self-control.

My eyes flew out of my half-exploded brain when I saw "Super Metroid," "HD," and then the picture, and then my heartbroke when it turned out to be just an excellent 'shop. Now I will roll around in my own tears.

So I mention two good games that are out right now and you make the silly assumption that I'm set for life because you want to make a pedantic jab at the Wii U's game library? Smooth.

We have Lego City Undercover and Need For Speed. We're good.

I dunno, its weird, bulgy, asymmetric design made it look like the bloated corpse of a PS2. No disrespect to you, I just always thought it was weird. The only Playstation I owned was the small, slim PSOne model, so the PS3 threw me for a loop when I saw it.

...which model of the PS3? The original was ludicrous, the first Slim was perfect, and the New Slim is the New Coke.

Thank you for your perspective! Just a couple questions: what's the best thing, for you, about playing those games? And why did you play WoW, and why don't you now? Sorry to quiz you, I'm just sincerely interested in understanding more.

So, I'm not into strategic card games and think people that play them are crazy. I also think people who play WoW are crazy, too, for reference. I think it's just a thing where their dedication to it is too intense for me? I don't know. I'm weirdly prejudiced, and I recognize it, and I apologize ahead of time.

Vaguely reminds me of an Aperture turret.

I'm so so so so sorry. *still thrashing*

*rolls around, orgasming spastically*

The visual style comes from Pokemon Rumble, which, as a WiiWare game, had pretty strict graphical limitations (both due to horsepower and allowable file size). They worked around this by making low-poly, barely-animated models a solid visual style, and we're still seeing it because the people who played these games

It's bizarre, because you seem to be embodying what you are accusing me of being. And what you are accusing me of being is decidedly...presumptuous, considering the minimal interaction we've had in this conversation.

*waits*

And this is why I'm a misanthropic optimist.

In that case, can you provide any examples?

A crossing of the sabers.

*waits for the same kind of hate Patricia gets when she writes female-centric articles*

No worries on the delay; I apologize for my own, as I just spent the last two days finishing up a gigantic move so I can relocate to the east coast.
