I'm happily not Patricia, and merrily not-crazy, just tired of bullshit.

The most recent monthly sales data wasn't the greatest, no, but great first-party games and support from interested third-parties are going to pump those numbers up.
*looks from you to Ubisoft, Traveler's Tales, Criterion, Platinum, Atlus, and Monolith, and then back to you* Um.
Sony's been on the decline since the PSP—not an initially sharp decline, mind you, but a slow tilt downwards that dipped sharply with the PSP Go and became subterranean when the Vita hit. Ironically, the PS3 was kinda hitting its stride when Sony decided to rush a PS4 announcement out the door.
I'm with you. Nintendo is solid, its handheld business will hold, and the Wii U is a delightfully strange beast that might be better-poised to hold devs' attentions should the costs of high-high-high-def game development prove bad for the bottom line. They've got a war chest bigger than Power Girl's and are pushing a…
I'd been thinking of that some time, and that's definitely a credit to you. I barely ever look at the byline, though, and looking back on Patricia's posts, there are definitely far more posts of hers that completely fly under the radar than there are these oddly divisive pieces. Things like that are easy to miss.
I look forward to conversing with you. :)
Ughhhhhhhhh. I hope Metroid Blast and its gunship gameplay becomes integrated in some way, on some level, into the next Metroid. Give me a new Metroid game this year, period, and I'll go into a glee coma until the day it comes out.
I just went into an 18-paragraph dissection of the article in question and Derek's arguments and laid out the inaccuracies and fallacies in his assertions. If you can counter with similar thoroughness and eloquently illustrate your point using factual examples, I'd sincerely love to have that discussion with you.
You know you don't have to read the articles, right? Isn't that, too, wasting time, both your own and that of those of us who actually want to read the article?
*tilts head as he watches you grump off*
See my other response for my response to this response that I'm responding to. We need to have some sort of fireside chat or sit down for a beer or something (I don't drink, but whatever floats your boat and stuff).
Listen, seriously, are you always this angry? How old are you? I'm 26. My name is Matthew. It's nice to meet you, Mr. Sibley (may I call you Josh? Joshua?). What do you do for a living? I would just seriously like to have a civil conversation with someone who isn't halfway down the road to an aneurysm. :(
"She makes an article trying to initiate sexism crap where there is none. And to back her claims, she provides twitter examples of people complaining about the lack of women. You know what else twitter is full of? Nazis/homophobic idiots/racists/idiots in general."
*scrolls through Patricia's past work*
I like you.
Thank you kindly! Two of the games I own for the Wii U are shooters (Black Ops II and ZombiU), and the latter is utter genius, but we definitely need to move towards varied gameplay and new ways to interact and immerse ourselves in just having -fun-. People have a really misguided sense of "mature games" making them…
It'll be instantly ignored on the PS4 because it'll be tacked-on nonsense like just about everything Sony tries to cram onto their systems. It will forever flourish on the Wii U because it's fun, relevant, helpful, and is entirely about the games and connecting the people who play them. It brings a genuine sense of…
"So way slower and less helpful than Gamefaqs. The future is truly here."
Yep, that about sums it up. =D Although Miiverse will be expanded to the 3DS, phones, and your average desktop internet browser in the near future. Stay tuned, true believers!
