The visibility argument is one I just had with my neighbor. He has a 5th-gen F-Body and claimed it was better "in every possible way", a quick blind-spot comparison with my 1st-gen F-body showed that I was more likely to see a potential accident and avoid it.

I'd like to make an argument in favor of Highway 1, when I drove it I saw exactly ZERO bicyclists the entire 12 hours I was on it and the way I avoided the heavy traffic buildup was to simply time my fuel stops just as traffic started backing up. I'd then have a clear road and just as I'd catch up to one of the

One time I was driving Sac Int'l Airports roads and I realized (with a few of the one lane roads widened) it would make a pretty cool track! It's got a cross over like Suzuka, it has elevation change, 270 degree on-ramps, a pit-lane already built in as-is, the possibility for multiple layouts (I have two drawn in this

My dad's friend just bought one that looks exactly like the car in the first picture, with the Chevy swap.

Holy cow! That Shenandoah layout! I need to race there...

They could always go back to Long Beach?

People always bash California for our smog regs, even within the state (looking at you, friend with a '95 240SX that wants to drop a RB26 in it), but I greatly enjoy living here. I recently drove the entire stretch of Highway 1 that extends from San Francisco to L.A. and I wouldn't trade those 12 hours for anything.

And, if I remember right, the body panels are made of WOOD.

Totally doing this for my Firebird, now to find uses for the 3 other ashtrays...

My friend just bought one of these, it's actually a pretty mean sounding car!

My 69 Firebird has the exact keys pictured, love freaking my friends out by pulling out the key and saying "Here, hang on to this for a second." while driving down the road.

This is why I like my car, it only has three (somewhat useful) lights: Generator (which comes on whenever the key is on but the engine isn't running), Temp, and Oil. And so far I've never had the oil light come on.

I already do. I drive a 1969 Firebird everyday, which is 44 years old (the car was built in late '68). I'm 17, so twice my age would be 34.

I know this one may sound a bit odd, but Sacramento International Airport.
