The “kick sensor” for Range Rover products is not under the center of the bumper, it’s the driver’s side rear bumper radar sensor. Super easy to set off accidently, super hard to do it on purpose.

I’m guessing that Range Rover felt like it was long overdue for a trip to the shop, so it found a way to make it happen.
