"if eZelleron could provide some sort of quick charge to Kraftwerk’s occasionally meandering tracks."

"play nothing but Kraftwerk for 20 minutes."

Damon has never been a huge box office draw - Bourne drew on the strength of the films, Oceans on the strength of the ensemble. And I disagree with your critical assessments of some of those films.

Who are the "Ulsters"?

OH, and it has a really great David Holmes soundtrack

I enjoyed this film, although some of the dialogue could be a little on the nose. I've encountered some people who think the initial premise of people killing soldiers in the street was too implausible, but then I remind them it happened all too often, usually very visibly, like this horrible incident: https://m.youtub

When I was a kid, going up to Belfast from our small town was a big event, mainly because it was genuinely a dangerous proposition, and also because the city center was full of security checkpoints. I also remember that most Northern Irish towns had security barriers permanently installed and the centres would be shut

I'd also highly recommend Paul Greengrass' superb Bloody Sunday. It stuck me while watching Selma just how much in common the two events had. Also, for a hilarious, yet revealing take on the same subject - Mickybo and Me.

Does Star Trek Into Darkness even count as an example of this trope? It never really felt like Khan *wanted* to be captured, he just made lemonade out of his situation. He also didn't really escape either, he was freed.

"I know the villain planning on getting captured plot has been overused but for some reason it felt fresh here for me"

I very much disagree.

I will hear nothing bad about First Contact (or The Undiscovered Country for that matter), but Generations and Insurrection can suck a duck.

Nemesis shat all over that fact, then ate up both the poop and the fact, vomited it all up again, cooked it into a pie, then ate and shat >that< out again, and remarkably, what resulted was still less terrible than Nemesis itself.

I feel like I'm walking into one of those old gentleman's clubs when I go over there, like I'm out of place because my monocle doesn't contain enough conflict ivory, and my scotch is 2 years too young.

Ironically being bummed would have been enough to earn an R rating here.

Everytime someone calls Downton Abbey a BBC show, Jimmy Saville's ghost molests another child.

Yes! I loved the book in general, but it really bothered me that there was a distinct lack of awe on display throughout the thing, or barely any kind of environmental description whatsoever. The guy was supposed to be the first human to see most of what he sees, yet there's little to no discussion of that. It would

"It doesn't sit with how they've portrayed her so far, or with what
happened during the escape attempt. Lazy writing and characterization."

I believe the only person who died because of the escape attempt was RapoCop. The woman who ate him was already dead when Beth came into the office.

I'm guessing the strength she was referring to was the ability to escape from the rape hospital a few weeks ago, not standing up for Carol. 'Least that's the way I took it to be.
