It’s okay to oppose government bodies when they target businesses for strictly cultural reasons.
Disney has literally decades of history overseeing the Reedy Creek Development district, to the great benefit of Florida throughout that time. They’ve long since shown they are responsible members of that community, and worth the trust. Calling it a “targeted campaign of government retaliation” is a slam-dunk lawsuit.
As much as I don’t trust corporations at all and think Disney as one is a monster (though I do love a lot of the IP and the parks), this feels good. I’d genuinely trust Disney with overseeing the parks considering how many guests they see and how they know the parks need to be safe and clean in order to actually keep…
This is why I aim for the farthest parking space possible. Nobody wants those, and I never have to fight for it. They’re all too busy fighting to save 5 minutes of walking. I’d rather have the exercise and less stress.

I’m the dad in a family of 5, we have a 2009 Pontiac Vibe and a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country. When you buy the right cars for your family, you can go for a decade without a car payment.
I’m really looking forward to picking up my neighbor’s Supra after it gets repo’d.

The Jones Act is terrible in so many ways. During the last(?) devastating hurricane in Puerto Rico (I’ve lost count, sadly) the US literally could not ship aid there because we did not have Jones Act compliant ships! Our own hostages people, and we could not even help them thanks to a terrible century old law that…
