I think so. It was a trait of a random legendary shotty that I picked up. Probably around hour 55?

They still have plenty of courts—all the old standards, plus some weird unlockable ones. Because "jump shots" are a thing now (double tap your swing button), courts also have a "bounciness" rating.

Every single vault I've found (not sure it's all of them, but there are several) has been a total let down. It's kinda what I was getting at in my review, that it feels like so much personality has been sapped from the world at large. Yes, the stories BEHIND these vaults are slightly of interesting, but they all boil

I'm quite partial to my silenced combat shotgun with exploding bullets named "Frank's Red Hot."

As I mentioned in a comment early on in the thread, I really didn't run into any significant bugs. I'm kinda shocked to see how intense all the other glitch reports have been. I mean, the fact that the bugs are there isn't surprising, because it's Bethesda, but I had a very smooth experience.

You know, I did think about it, and I honestly don't have an answer for you. Over 50 hours and I never really noticed either way.

Yes, but now you can break weapons down into pieces you can use to build mods for your other weapons!

Sorta. It's in the menu, but it's the first option and as soon as it's done (in less than a second), it boots you straight back into the game. So just two button presses and you've got your quicksave.

The DJ of the main station, Diamond City Radio, is pretty funny when you first tune in. He's…well, I don't want to spoil it, but I'll just say he's definitely not your typical media personality. I do wish they'd given him more lines and some more songs to play, though. It gets old fast.

As great as FO3 and New Vegas are, there's really no reason to play them before 4. Other than the sort of overarching lore, there's not much tying them together besides the occasional reference. Even the lore shouldn't be a problem, as that's explored to great detail in this game's pre-apocalypse prologue and

No problem! It's obviously a super dense game and everyone here is familiar with the old versions of the systems, so I'm happy to shed some light on the specific changes that I couldn't touch in the review

I don't know if I'd say they're more common, but they do pop up quite a bit, though most of those excess ones are largely inconsequential. (If you're accepting a quest, you can almost always ask for more money, for example.) They've obscured the system quite a bit, so instead of a straight numerical percentage next to

I'd say so. The biggest difference is that there isn't any aim-assist So it's still WAY harder than a regular shooter to actually hit anything. There's also very little feedback for when you hit an enemy, except for their health bar going down. It feels way better to shoot, but it's still not great.

Nope. Still skill based, or rather perk-based, since skills and perks are the same thing now. The perks are more like a skill tree now. Each has a minimum level and SPECIAL prereq, so for example, Expert Lockpicking can only be acquired once you hit a certain level, assuming you had enough Perception to unlock

Yeah, it's actually very similar to New Vegas: several factions all with drastically different goals, means, and visions for what should become of The Commonwealth. And they all make a pretty good case.

They're both exactly the same.

I never once had the game crash or glitch out too hard on Xbox. (I'd have preferred to review on PC, but they sent Steam codes out a few days after console and I wasn't about to replay the first 15 hours.) The worst thing that happened to me was a companion glitch, where they'd go down in combat and never get back up.

I honestly would just suggest Syndicate, unless you're really interested in the whole pirate setting and idea of naval battles. I haven't played a ton of it, but like Pat, I've found the lead characters waaaay more endearing than any of the others and they've scrubbed away some of the more tedious crap that littered

I feel your pain and really do agree. It was only two Bloodborne articles (plus a Keyboard Geniuses following up on the first, if you want to count that) within two months, which isn't all THAT much in the grand scheme of things, but these two were closer together than I would have liked. It was more of an unfortunate

Thanks for the note. It's been fixed.
