Its a bit NASCARish for me but it gives drivers more of an incentive to push their cars which in turn makes the racing better

There are so many better ways of awarding more points. Got the pole? 2 points. Set the fastest lap of the race? 1 point. Hell getting a point for every 10 laps led would be better than this shit.
I mean it was an engine used to move a car or three, most other engines can only move one car

iRacing will give you the best experience in terms of how to actually drive a track but for learning just the layout I would suggest GT
