This article is the first I’ve heard of it, and I’m chronically online and play ad-supported mobile games pretty frequently.

My thoughts exactly. This is the first I’m hearing of it.

Money well spent apparently - because I wasn’t aware it existed until I saw this article.

The irony of an app which is optimized to compel people to spend more and more money for meaningless progression based on a board game which was in turn based on a game designed to illustrate the fact the system is rigged in favor of those who are already wealthy and optimized to separate the less wealthy from even

Huh. Apparently I don’t go the right (wrong?) places, this is the first time I’ve heard of this game.

A game about using capitalism to bankrupt as many people as possible, enhanced to encourage people into going broke gambling on bells and whistles.

Says a lot about the self-awareness of anyone spending consistently on it.

And all for a game that is, to put it very simply: fucking awful.

Voyager was good sometimes! Really good sometimes! And when it was bad it was horrid. It was not infrequently bad.

Your opinion is bad and you should feel bad.

This makes sense.  Young Superman is a genre of stuff within Superman stories in general.  It’d be like casting a 60 year old man to play Wolverine and then saying “He’s old Logan, but we’re not doing Old Man Logan.”

“He’s not young it just takes place early in his life.

That’s OK, Jim. My Adventures with Superman is doing up the whole “young Superman” thing very nicely.

Eternals has its issues, but I liked how they did super-speed there too

Yeah, I have to say I wasn’t annoyed by the Illuminati getting taken out — I wasn’t happy about it, but it made sense in showing the hubris of that particular group. It didn’t do anything to diminish Atwell’s What If run, either.

No, it makes seasoned hamburgers.

Seasoning your meat before you form patties is a no-go, the salt will break down the proteins and cause them to link together into a sausage-like texture.

Friend, what you’re describing is “meatloaf,” not a hamburger.
