Reading this article made me wish we had these rules and customs in the US. I mean maybe we have similar customs but like the examples you gave, a lot of people either don’t care, are lazy, or just don’t think about others.

Agreed. It’s really not that different from movies with realistic gore. Movies from years ago like Saving Private Ryan were pretty nasty at times.

I think most people just need to know how long a game is and how much it costs. Anybody that’s seriously basing their purchases on a “cost per hour” should add some other non gaming hobbies to their day.
