Your right. The system is broken. But until there is magically a better alternative, we should defund all police overnight and let people run wild? The problem is society expects results overnight. The same racist cops workingdacross the country didn’t go anywhere just because George Floyd happened. Maybe in another

You ticked the useless comment box here. Congrats?

Useless comment. Check.

This Kotaku story had the take I was expecting. “Those evil police are at it again”. But once again, the police didn’t start this scenario. Those kids would be alive and well today if they had better parents and weren’t robbing a store. The people who have never needed the police are usually the first to whine and cry

I still play the game 2 or 3 times a week. For me the game peaked right up until they went full esports mode with Overwatch League. And then it was a slow and steady drain as people carried over whatever over-powered tactic was being used in OWL into quick play.

That’s what I have always thought this is. There is such a minuscule amount of value in an NFT. You own the magical rights to this body of work. But somehow that value can be millions and millions of dollars?

Do gas stations also have to pay that much for chargers? There is a Sheetz gas station in my area that is just off a major highway, and I swear has at least 10 or more Tesla charging stations all lined up on one side. It's was pretty crazy to see the first time.

I've only had Jimmy John's once about 5 years ago when one opened in my area. The bread was so chewy and tough. I have a jaw issue and subs, sandwiches, pizza, etc are never a problem. But their roll was really pushing my limit. Haven't been back since.

A point that the article made was face scanning is no where near reliable enough. If a cop thinks you look shady, scans your face and the computer mistakes you for a wanted criminal..... you're going to jail.

This sounds more like class action lawsuit territory to me. The consumers should be protected from a company knowingly selling a rusting product. The rust isn’t going to pose a danger until later. Imagine how hard some of the internals spin on an exercise bike. Definitely not something you want to have any weakness.

Lol

I have nothing personally against the NYT’s. But when the game goes to their website I’m done playing. The allure of the game for me was the super simplistic, old school innocent look. I don’t want to see any political or real world bs on the NYT’s website while making my way to the game. Glad the creator made bank,

Nobody with a brain fully understands or supports all this NFT stuff. The people out there who spend a million dollars on Pokémon cards or a million dollars on an N64 cartridge are using any and all influence they have to create the next big money making scheme. This pandemic has showed there are a lot of people out

The article this story is linked to said the pennies came covered in oil and left an oil stain in the guy’s driveway. These guys really had an axe to grind. You might have hired a bad worker. Pay him his last check and get over it.

Well take comfort knowing most “power hungry cops” probably don’t waste their time playing video games.

Didn't even think of toilet paper. It's also the absolute cheapest thing you could keep in the vehicle too!

The rich get richer, the poor stay poor but receive government handouts, and the middle class loses more and pays more for everything.

For real. I was not prepared for the mental gymnastics I had to go through while reading this article. Some people have such wild thoughts and will twist things around so much to fit their narrative.

I know putting “school shooting” in the title of the article is probably great for getting more clicks. But the title reads like an annoying mouthful.

I have no experience in the trucking industry, but like every other industry, there are probably PLENTY of people who should not be there. A trucking company that needs drivers badly end up taking anyone who is certified.
