Moment, it's a fucking moment.

Three cars.
Porsche would have to go to front wheel drive BMW levels of profanity for me to stop loving them.
My friends and I build a street luge with longboard trucks when we were about 12. One of them rolled over at about 25 mph. Parents destroyed the luge of course.
Quite easily. I'm 19 and in university. If I drove an R8 I could sleep at a different art students house every night.
Yes but you can also buy a 300 horsepower mustang that gets fuel economy close to a focus. The mustang is turning into Fords real sports car so lower weight on the base model is a good thing.
That is actually the direction for is planning for the Mustang. Base: 4 cylinder turbo or n/a v6 with around 300hp. (they will probably never take away power from previous models). Gt: TT v6 with more than 400 horsepower. And the v8 will be saved for the batshit skunkworks creations and such.
Go home, you're drunk.
Did you just insult hot rods....? You know you're on jalopnik right?
I also tip according to the menu price. For example, if I'm at an expensive restaurant I will start at 15% tip and move up to 20% depending on how the service was. If I'm at a bar I'll make sure to tip at least a buck a drink for beers/something that the bartender brings out to me. If I have to wait in line at a…
Ah makes sense now. I didn't read the actual QOTD yesterday.
I'll be first to say that I am not great at driving a manual. I've only been driving one for about 3 months now but it just feels right. The problem with an automatic car to me now is just the absolute lack of control of throttle response. No automatic will ever be able to read your mind therefore it can never be…
My bad.
On vacation a few years ago my dad let me drive on it in a rented town car. I gave it a bit too much power a couple times.
My 2000 Jetta was 90hp through a slushbox in a 3000 lb car. Probably closer to 70 hp by the time i sold it. So thats like 42lbs/hp .
Very much so. Diesel around here is about the same price as 91.. with 30% better fuel economy.
The break even point on my dad's last one was about 60,000 miles. (1.5 years for us) Also, the resale value is much higher, especially with the wagon.
Yea, the 98 engine and the 99-03 (alh) were pretty similar. Mine was bulletproof when I sold it at 250k....turbo was on its way out though.
