I'm actually thinking about a Beetle...they don't look that bad....okay that's just poor rationalizing. But getting one that's in better shape than my Jetta for a grand less than I can sell the Jetta for seems reasonable.
Sell my 2000 Jetta TDI to some sucker that will pay $2,000 more than it's worth and probably buy one or two year old Fiesta. The Jetta is worth $500 more than I paid for it 40,000 miles ago and I don't commute 70 miles a day anymore. I get a newer car that's just as practical and chicks love Fiestas.

Actually, I kind of do this. Mainly with tv shows. Sometimes I'll leave a season playing in the backseat dvd player. The plot line and dialogue keeps me more focused than music will.
I would rather have the Volkswagen or Audi version.
