I always find calm precise questions and reasoning to be the most effective method of expressing a point. But that's my personal style. My BS meters go off immediately when hyperbole or emotions get involved.
I wouldn't say jingoistic either. Jingoism is more patriotism to the point of being aggressive towards other countries or in a more external way. She hasn't mentioned other countries or nationalities. Mostly just religion.
True, but I find it important to differentiate for purely organizational reasons. Sort of a mental note of what kind of ignorant certain people are. Also it shows a sensitivity in the author to one issue over another by focusing on the race point when only religious prejudice is implied.

True, Alfa doesn't have the recognition in the US, but that could work to their advantage. It's new and exciting and somewhat exclusive. This can be good for luxury/sports cars. I know I wouldn't want to buy a Chrysler branded luxury/sports anything. (Crossfire doesn't count, that's a Mercedes)
I would say the horn and the tint qualify as noticeable mods. The flaps get a pass IMO.
