I’m utterly disgusted by the fact that there are multiple Resident Evil fans on this thread, and no one but me has updinged this.

Tim Burton’s first Batman in 1989 has this same problem as well.

If Zack Snyder had filmed this sequence, Supes would have floated two feet from the kid, staring at him until the kid jumped.

What’s the over/under on this guy showing up in Jan 6th Capitol coup attempt video? Dude is certainly checking all of the boxes for that crew.

What??? A cartoon comedy is unrealistic? The devil, you say! Thanks for writing this brave stance and removing the scales from our eyes!!!

The GTA version of a EVE Online summary.

Calling it now: they’re going to go full false equivalence and say BLM is exactly like QAnon.

About $1000 total. It cost me $500 for the electrician to get the fuse box up to snuff, and $459 for the VersiCharge LVL 2 Universal Electric Vehicle Charger (now down to $399).

Came here for this, not disappointed. That episode has always been in my Top 10. I get why Groenig feels the way he does about it, but it’s a shame, because it’s one of the episodes that hits the gas pedal and just doesn’t let up. Every throwaway gag is just as funny as the stuff in the main story.

The problem is that the mistake they’re feeling shame over is the near assassination via mob of the sitting Vice President and Speaker of the House by the sitting President of the United States.

Jezebel headline, six months from now, probably.

Not sure if this has come up yet, but this whole thread is cousin to the “I know what state Springfield is really in!” quagmire.

I, for years, thought Moe said “car hold” instead of “car hole”. However, having what I believe is a decent sense humor, I just laughed. Two reasons: the character delivering the line was Moe, who is nuts; as well as Hank Azaria’s genius reading of said line.

“Nintendo turned me into an evil, occult Pokémon character. Nintendo stole my identity by using my name and my signature image,” Geller said at the time.

I forget whether I read it here or not, but the story was she was having a fling with a personal trainer or some such. The idea was Cheetolini would get the POTUS run out of his system, lose, and then she’d drop the hammer and run off with Rock Hardcheese.

My take on the overall Jez editorial stance is part paraphrase/part hyperbole. As other comments show, not everyone agrees with that. Like many non-insane, empathetic Americans, I’ve been on edge for about four years at over how absolutely vile many of my fellow countrypeople have become.

I agree about the Overton Window. As far as Jez being far left: they published editorials that started veering from criticism of Biden’s record into “Fuck this guy, we’re so progressive we’d rather have Trump than support a ‘phony’”. That’s far left.

This.
