I was going to say the same thing. Higher end restaurants might try to head hunt executive chefs or up-and-coming sous chefs that have made a name for themselves, but the idea that there is some kind of fierce competition between fast food restaurants stealing each other’s staff away is complete fabricated bullshit.

For tips done on the app, then yeah I’d say don’t tip, since apparently the driver isn’t going to see it anyway (or rather, its not the additional money you assume they will be getting).

Take this with a grain of salt, but I’ve also heard that the danger of salmonella from raw eggs is primarily from the shells.
