Right there with you.  My TPIR dream was this: get to play Cliffhanger, bid so ridiculously high on the first prize that Bob actually questions me, after which I look at him, say, "You heard me, Bob.  Make him climb," and dance a jig while the yodeling music plays and the mountain climber falls to his death.

I don't like Drew Carey as host, but that's because I believe he's a cheerleader for the contestants.  I was far more entertained by Bob Barker's attitude as host.  Nobody else in television could master his condescension the way Bob Barker could.
