I have no idea what just happened in that quiz i just talk.

And whose sitting in the ocean, patiently waiting by their boat, waiting for the majority of people to be taken out, so they can swoop in at the end and be murdered by one of the last few players left in the game?

First time i’ve heard about the Knights of the Round theory. It would actually be a pretty nice and simple explanation as to who the hell these guys are.

This theory always kind of ticked me off. It seems to be a massive and extremely pointless stretch. One character called Shinra has one line mentioning harnessing life energy in the sequel game. At best it’s a casual reference to VII. But seeing as there’s nothing else at all to link them there’s no reason to give it

Well this is my new headcanon now.

Another cool thing i learned about the xenomorph is that the Alien’s body AI (as opposed to the Alien’s world AI that was constantly aware of you) has multiple cameras and state checks that specifically mimic its actual senses to simulate how the xenomorph would be expected to react as realistically as possible...

I’m amazed it’s taking this long for fan project games of a high calibur to basically count as CVs for up and coming game developers.as opposed to immediate cease and desist situations (or simply high level games that the developers have deigned to allow to exist). Here’s hoping that Sonic Mania is the start of a

Oh definitely. It’s the willingness to use to tools that best fit the job. I think nowadays it would definitely have to be a mix in order to bring out the best in the environment.

**spoiler warning i guess**

Reading the Double XP comic i realise that the only thing i took from the Sonic Boom phase was the awesome cartoon. It feels wrong to see a buff Knuckles trying to be serious.

I kind of disagree. Fixed camera angles were definitely a tool of convenience at the time due to issues with processing power but beyond a fond nostalgia it added to the aesthetics of a game by allowing a focus for composition of every screen. Rather than just having the camera follow behind the character it allowed

So here’s probably an okay place to ask. Are there any new 3D games out recently that retain the idea of a fixed camera angle as opposed to an over the shoulder view? I get that at the time it was an invention of convenience but i honestly felt that it led to interesting games in their own right. At the very least it

I supposed in the purest way of looking at it, the fan doing this wants the streamer to have the best experience possible, so that they enjoy it the way the fan did. The problem comes the moment the fan disregards the streamer’s feelings/opinion and insist their way is the better way. It’s at this point where the

Did you start your explanation with ‘Back in my day...’ followed by rambling non-sequiturs about the size of towels and how Sarah Michelle Gellar was the hottest thing on television, on which you could only access a hundred channels on...

I never actually saw this as a stereotype of any kind, which in retrospect is kind of weird because i can very easily see why it could be the case. Maybe it was the doll like nature of the characters that negated it, but with Barrett you see a lot of him very early on that gives a lot of character. Yes, he’s angry and

All human life is meaningless. When we die, our efforts are for naught.

UK guy here. One amusing thing about the Bully game is there’s probably not a single person in the UK who actually called it Canis Canem Edit. It was always Bully to us. To everyone. The shop i was working in sold it as Bully. People talking about it called it Bully. The kids playing it that people were trying to

I agree and i’m pretty much in the same group you are. I go for the reviews and i keep an eye out for the content that appeals to me (the worst i have are the games i don’t play from humble bundles). Though I’ve seen Jim Sterling complain about it and am reasonably aware of the situation i have yet to this date found

The Batman Arkham games did a great job of using overheard NPC chatter. It made sense for organised goons to have radios and it made sense for Batman to be eavesdropping on their conversations. The stuff they said was a nice mix of relevant and irrelevant, changed depending which villain’s goons you were overhearing

I kind of want an alternative skin for her which is the animated Teen Titans version of her, complete with adorable anger.
