I think we need more coverage on how we talked ourselves into Rick porcello being more than a number 3 pitcher having a career year

I’m rooting for a Cubs-Indians series, because that is a sign of the end of days. It probably means Trump wins in November, but I’ll take that as a trade.

Watching it at work last night with a full bar here in Boston. When Miller came in everyone started talking about how much they miss Francona.

Ugggh look at all the good baseball I miss when I’m too busy playing beer pong and there’s football on :( I love watching the Sox lose

That was straight up Hooliganism. He’s already getting off easy.

Really impressive they managed to win three AL pennants without starting any outfielders. Still, I think Francona has the right idea going by the book on this one.

Third-degree Rambunctiousness for sure

I was thinking maybe second-degree chicanery but you are more of a legal eagle than me.

He’s caught by a photo, he’ll be lucky to get it down to Shenanigans.

Surely his lawyer can plea bargain his Mischief charge down to Tomfoolery.

His punishment will almost certainly be a lifetime ban from Blue Jays games. Or, if he has a really good lawyer, he’ll get a lifetime ban from Blue Jays and Leafs games.

I watched a documentary several years before Katrina hit that predicted that very scenario. It said the levees could easily fail even in a cat 3 hurricane and that NO was basically in the bottom of a bowl surrounded by the Mississippi River and Lake Ponchartrain which would all fill up.

Those idiots never realized how lucky they were - ask anyone in the Adirondacks and the Catskills in central NY how shitty Irene was.

After NYC got a lucky break with Hurricane Irene, a bunch of people who evacuated waterfront neighborhoods whined that the government had lied to them, apparently not understanding that we were warned of the worst case, and a bunch of randomness was involved. A year later, they all stayed put for Hurricane Sandy,

Early on, I would focus on team sports like baseball and soccer. But I would steer my future kids towards individual sports, like track, swimming, golf, tennis, etc. Pain and injury aside, there is just less room for “daddy ball” in individual sports. The lowest score, fastest runner/swimmer will always win.

Counterpoint:

Many very smart people are saying this dinner was a meeting with representatives from NAMBLA.

Why is it that there is always at least one person saying where they live is better because they aren't affected by a particular disaster? If an earthquake were to hit the west coast, I can guarantee some idiot from the east coast would say the exact opposite of what you just said.
