well, that’s embarrassing.
Just do a google search for “aints fan.” Not sure about the “pray for me” sign but they’ve been doing the bag thing for decades.
I get that, and I agree with you. I wasn’t intending to shit on Dan’s piece or on Philly fans’ memories of Halladay. I just haven’t seen any articles about his time as a Blue Jay; hell, I haven’t even seen any pictures of him in a Toronto uniform. I just think it’s weird as hell.
It’s amazing that Roy was able to achieve so much over a 4-year career that started when he was 33 years old. Not to mention spending his whole career with one team.

Well, I went to Catholic high school, and we were taught that it is sinful to have sex with anyone other than your wife (we were all boys) and for any reason other than procreation. So maybe it depends on the particular brand of Catholicism?
maybe have a cup of coffee and revisit this comment.
Nah, I think Bryan Cranston would be better suited for this role.
for what it’s worth, the Senators went to 3 world series (1924, 1925, and 1933), winning only once (1924). Johnson was not on the 1933 team.
You’re right, although I can’t entire blame him for wanting to be a starter. There is a so much more money to be made as a starter than a reliever. Phil Hughes, another overhyped Yankee from those days, and no one’s idea of an elite pitcher, made $13m this year.

funny, cuz when my wife was pregnant, i went through a fucking-my-pregnant-wife-a-lot phase.
could be his wife’s sister and her husband
dude, the Yanks went 11-8 against Boston this year. Boston’s biggest margin of victory was 10-5; the Yankees beat Boston by scores of 9-1, 9-2, and 8-0.
and yet, they haven’t won a goddamn thing.
I was born and raised in the south too. fuck the confederate flag.
“ALL lives matter!”
You’re thinking of Jim Joyce.
I knew a dude who would do this in high school gym class, which was essentially just pick up basketball games. Afterwards, he’d tell me, “shot 4/5 today, 2/3 from behind the arc w/ 2 assists.”
