“I find it interesting that there’s talk of this being an example of gamer entitlement, okay, then can we also have a discussion about how gaming companies seem to have zero loyalty to their fan bases as well?”

I dislike lots of things. That’s the difference between me and these entitled children. When I dislike something, I say “Ah, that’s not exactly what I’m looking for” and then I go about my business like a normal, functioning adult.

These nerds are continuing a 24 hour, internet-wide meltdown of toddler-like

Context — A massive event called Blizzcon, hosted by a company called Blizzard, showcasing Blizzard created products using this platform to reveal a new product. Checks out to me.

As for the hype machine you’re sooooo close to getting it. Hype is bad and its people’s own fucking fault for falling for it. Beyond that

A massive event called Blizzcon, hosted by a company called Blizzard, showcasing Blizzard created products seems like the perfect place to reveal a Blizzard product to me.

there’s a difference between “People who enjoy playing games” and “Capital ‘G’ Gamers”

People who enjoy playing games are normal, sane, rational people who like the hobby. ‘Gamers’ send death threats, freak the fuck out about the stupidest shit, behave toxically, and have turned Consumerism into an identity.

You can play & enjoy games without being a “gamer”. Being a Gamer(tm), personally, has a negative connotation, and has long stopped meaning someone who simply plays games as a hobby imo. To me, these people think it’s some sort of lifestyle, and they foam at the mouth when they see all those dumb ads about “gamer”

BLIZZARD: Hey, while the cake is baking, we got the guy next door to make you some surprise cookies!

I’m at a point that I should be doing that too. This outrage spoiled brat attitude is one of the reasons why I stopped playing multiplayer games.

This is a big part of why I stopped identifying as a gamer.

Yeah, this is making me ashamed to be a gamer. It is just flat out embarrassing.

Ok.......*sigh*

Look, I get people being disappointed. I can even understand, to a certain extent, people being angry. No one was expecting, nor did anyone ask for, a Diablo mobile game. I think Blizzard is at times a little full of itself...high on their own supply, if you will. I don’t think they’re “out of touch”,

It’s astounding to me how these nerds are screaming themselves into rage-comas because a phone toy isn’t directly marketed to them.

Holy shit, Gamers are trash.  Just don’t play it if you’re that mad.  Christ...

This couldn’t be more right. We saw this exact same reaction when Mass Effect 3 had an ending that many didn’t think was well done. I understand being upset about that, but acting like the company that made that game owes you anything is idiotic. People believe this fantasy that because they purchase a game they can

I think Diablo on mobile is a fantastic idea, and I can’t wait to play it, but I agree with most everything else you said. The funny thing is, even if every single hater refused to play the game (and I doubt that will be the case), there would still be millions of players who are stoked that Blizz put out a Diablo

Nor should they expect it. I agree it’s a bad idea and not what i want. What will i do with this turn of events? Not play it and maybe check out Path of Exile. This Gamers Rise Up bullshit is just embarrassing. They don’t care how angry you rage on reddit. They care if they don’t make money on it. No amount of reddit

The only thing I hate more than a cold office is a hot office.

Before you complain keep in mind that while you can always add more layers there’s only so much you can take off before you’re fired for public indecently. Everyone has different thresholds for what they consider to be hot or cold—- so when the

I’ve had the opposite problem at workplaces, where my cubicle was like a sauna and wore shorts all the time, even in winter.

I see no reason for a space to be heated to the ‘70's, and think that doing so would just leave the people who dressed appropriately for the season and trip to the office sweltering and faint.

This is going to sound really pathetic, but last night I ended up crying because I felt so overwhelmed by just the thought of the new year and all the things I want to do to improve my life (and all the ways I failed to do that in the previous year).
