One thing that I hope this episode shows is that the writers this season haven't "lost their way" like so many have feared.

@alwaysamy: Well, Bobby DID slip him the tongue after sealing the deal on the soul...

@JRD_2: Yeah, it is this kind of stuff that really makes me wonder if the people who plan this show are just this brilliant to plan this all out or if they are brilliant enough to look for this kind of ret-con that doesn't really mess with continuity.

@Foohy: It was in last week's episode (and kind of implied in the season finale last year).

@jinchoung: Actually, this is sort of the reason I believe every generation thinks the next generation is "going down the tubes".

@tylerbrainerd: I agree with that...I can't really watch Spiderman 1 on tv anymore, but I still really like Spidey 2.

@KamWrex: "can lead to premature hardware failure"

@DrMathochist: So funny....TOTALLY agree with you, and I thought the same thing last night! Newton-Raphson provides a better approximation of the zero than the quadratic formula?!?!??! Someone doesn't really know what the quadratic formula does...

@Nivenus: I agree with the specific targets, but with there only being 1 space elevator (potentially to start), it would be pretty symbolic to bring it down (just as taking down the Twin Towers was symbolic for more than just the number of people killed).

@Blackfog: Thanks for the addition...a valid response.

I've used salt water often. I now gargle with hydrogen peroxide when I feel a sore throat coming on. Make sure you don't swallow it (although a nurse told me it wouldn't really hurt you), but I swear that it knocks out any throat infections in a day or two.

@brokenbacktango: I don't know about Crowley's secret, but I'm betting that Bobbie does something rather hum-drum (compared to being a hunter) during the day to make money. I'm betting an ebay seller, online poker player, or some sort of paid blogger.

@MyNameisn'tEarl: First, I don't really watch the show religiously, so this may be uniformed, but wouldn't it be great if the producers end the show with Clark in the tights, and Lex back as his major nemesis?

@thetayloreffect: This is a major issue for me. I don't always procrastinate just out of anxiety (sometimes it is merely "goofing off"), but most of my major procrastinating is due to anxiety.

@gapo: Of course, suppose your parents don't tell you your adopted...Mom is cleaning your room and is tempted to sneak just a little peek at that diary...

@badbob001: I hear you...never have taken one back yet...NOT a receipt saver myself. (Of course, Wal-Mart and the bulb manufacturer are probably banking on this...)

@badbob001: I actually hear that the cheaper ones that Wal-Mart now sells usually do not last years and years. Save that receipt to take advantage of that full 5 year warranty....

I recall reading once very long ago that turning on and off the light switch takes about 4 minutes off the life of the bulb.

Anyone have a suggestion for PDF annotator software?
