I think it is because it is a USB A cable. I was all in to purchase this when I saw the headline, then when I read it was USB A, I remembered something about different charging capacities between USB A and USB C.
The first Google result for “usb a vs usb c charging capability” gives:

I worked in a small, local theater in high school. Sometimes the left over popcorn would be left in the machine for the next day. I don’t think we ever left it for longer than that, but I am sure it does happen.

For the “action-hero,” Charlize Theron was the first name that came to my mind while I read the article—not that my opinion is worth much. Of those in your list, I would think of Theron and Sigourney Weaver as “action hero-types,” maybe along with Jodie Foster.

(I realized a bit later that your list was for the 3 time

This should be the go-to response to so much crap on the internet! Thank you—I will certainly be using it myself.

There are investment questions for sure (did you invest the money in a riskier fund, if you are in an emergency is the economy in an emergency so your investments are down, etc). But I am fairly certain that you can withdraw any contributions you have made because they are post-tax. (A couple of google searches seems

Millennials are considered to be from 1981 to 1996. Dylan could have been born in 1983 or around there (so 25 in 2008). Economy was rough in 2008 but also for a few years after that (jobs didn’t hit 2008 levels until 2014), and then US economy didn’t crash hard, but a lot of people obviously lost jobs and had

I have discussed this with my sons. I have enjoyed all of these shows, especially after all this time away from new movies, the end of the Infinity War phases of the MCU, and just from my general love of comic books and heroes.

But so far, none of the Marvel shows have really been absolutely vital to view in order to

That could be Virginia Creeper. It has 5 leaves, and about 1 in 4 have an allergic reaction similar to poison ivy.

My mom says she fell into a bunch of it as a kid, broke out so bad that her eyes swelled shut, and she was never really bothered by it again after finally healing up from it.

You would think. Still, so many of my friends are entrenched in the “this is my group and we have to beat your group” GQP camp.

I know this is a repeat post, but it gave me the rare opportunity to star the comment twice!

Do you mean per capita or just in raw numbers?
There IS a difference. I would like to see your source.

Be aware that Virginia Creeper produces poison ivy like rashes in about 25% of the population (source: One of those 25% who researched it several times because he couldn’t figure out where the rashes were coming from...)

The son of a friend of mine is waiting to pay things off his loans because of the possible student loan forgiveness that is being bandied about.

He owes about $10k total (earned a couple of trade certificates with his associate’s degree at the local community college), so he figures there is a chance a good portion of

That makes sense, and there is no judgement from me for those that do—I just can’t.

It certainly is, but I always wonder where to draw the line. I am not sure I can ever watch the Cosby Show again, and I loved that show growing up.

I don’t think rentaduckie was arguing with you—just relaying interesting information, and point out that the vaccine rollout is starting to pick up speed (thank goodness).

As to the point you made earlier about not knowing true infections, I readily admit to people that the Covid death rate is probably smaller than

I like FreeTaxUSA. It is not free (state tax filings cost), but it is pretty inexpensive. I have used H&R Block, Turbo Tax, and TaxAct in the past. TaxAct was the cheapest for years, but prices seemed to have gone up last year, so I switched to FreeTax.

If you read the directions carefully, I think FreeTaxUSA is fine.

Man, remember when the Chicks (formerly of Dixie) were completely taken down by Country Music for saying they were ashamed of the President (W Bush)?
It is almost like that might have been fake outrage motivated by partisanship rather than any real concern for disrespecting a President...

(OK, that’s the last one, I promise.)“
