That white one was a thing of beauty. Friend of mine had a heavily modified but well built one that looked surprisingly refined.

Never had a head gasket issue but maybe I’m just lucky, what’s wrong with the half shafts, which by the way are super easy to replace. The cars are in general really easy to work on other than changing spark plugs. Also I gotta disagree on the hoonability, the average WRX driver totally cares and the average every

I wonder if truck applications will introduce gearboxes rather than single ratio drive. Could alleviate some of the range issues and like the article said, trucks have room and weight to give.

This is the best thing I’ve seen on the internet all year. Thanks for the laughs

Pikes Peak

Because you’re dropping the phone on asphalt over and over again

Mr Jeep, 3k for three windshields is a bargain for a super car. WRX glass is like $500 a pop, 3-series is around $800.

Wasn’t there an article on Jalopnic this year about a company that takes regular beater trucks and upgrades them while maintaining their general appearance so they can still blend into the car scene of a less developed country?

Some people really want to play soldier. It’s cool as a kid but at what point to grown ass adults either nut up and join the military or just stop pretending. For the record I was never in the military, feel free to flame all you want.

Guerrilla warfare is effective against actual organized and funded militaries as evidenced by current events. Eventually using a missile per person will get to be too expensive.

Whole time I read this article I thought about how powerful of a set up you’d need to be able to churn out these sims. Perhaps that’s the type of hardware Bethesda had in mind when they didn’t optimize Fallout 4.

Maybe the Vette has more drivetrain losses? Bigger tires that have more inertia perhaps?

Honestly, they could bring a really bare bones one here and still price it at 70k and let the LR badge do all the work of getting them sales

But they are still making the STi, Bajas are endangered

I’m only seeing a little camber here. Some wheels and tires and a drop can look good when the car isn’t completely idiotic and non functional. But if there isn’t a stupid amount of camber, does it just become a low rider?

I’ve been pulled over in a Town and Country about 4 times on one trip. I was a driver for only one of them though

What is the car pictured in the article? So much want, even in that color

Small drone defense is a hot topic for all the developed militaries. Even if you can detect it, whatever you launch to destroy it will cost orders of magnitude more than the drone itself

I’m not into the dragon bit but the gold accents looks cool

That was an unfortunate wreck but I remember when it happened, it was particularly icy in Colorado that weekend and he was on a mountain road. While very avoidable I don’t think this wreck was entirely due to the owner being a douchebag but to some extent just a victim of circumstances in a car that is difficult to
